Emma's so basic she's gonna get herself killed by Queen Chrissie's spawn. :smug:

Chrissie is the definition of basic.know that

I don´t like Emma Barton, but i´m not meant to, i guess. She needs to stay for so long that Laurel finds out about her misleading Ashley and that she killed John.

Marsh.
03-04-2017, 10:42 PM
She didn't kill John. :nono:

Calderyon

Tbh, Emma doesn´t need killing, she needs to end up in a mental hospital.

Marsh.
03-04-2017, 11:09 PM
Yes she did.

No she didn't. :nono:

John's death was an accident and long before Emma showed her face in the village. :smug:

Calderyon

Oh no, i mixed up John Barton and James. Gdi. #dumb

Emma Barton killed James Barton. John Barton died in a car crash.

I´ve missed so many Emmerdale episodes it´s unreal.

Calderyon

I wonder what was the trigger that set Cameron to go insane and kill all those people? (that the writers set of course)

Was it the because Debbie "had" to sleep with Andy so that they could have a savior baby so that Sarah could get treated?

Rob´s actor is the superior one though. Emmerdale needs to keep him for a long time if possible.

See I didn't enjoy the second part of tonight's. I thought the story would have finished nicely at the funeral. Not everyone gets to say goodbye like Laurel did, at least not a whole conversation. I just felt it was a little unrealistic. Almost as unrealistic as when Val came back as a ghost.

They had good potential to build up some kind of animosity or huge confrontation between Jai and Nicola (possibly involving the unpredictable Nell?) To lead to him declaring their deal was off and therefore leading to he exposure of the arson secret.

But they chose a filler plot about Nicole bring OTT about beavers as the catalyst for it?

Bizarre. I think Emmerdale has been leading the way since the Cameron story but it's starting to go off the boil.

I knew there was something creepy and emotionless about Nell. I always put it down to her being a bad actress but now it's all so clear why I never saw any emotion from her, and why she was all so wooden. And it certainly looked like she was about to murder moira in that last scene :worry:

Next week features one murder, one suicide and one birth.

Murder:Emma shoots Finn.
Suicide:Emma jumps from a viaduct.
Birth:Moira gives birth do a baby.

In Depth Summary;*******EXCLUSIVE DETAILED SPOILERS!!******* emmerdale

Monday 2nd October - Friday 6th October spoilers!

1 Birth – Issac

2 Deaths, Emma and Finn

Monday

Emma bears down on Moira with the pitchfork as the fire spreads around them. Moira realises she’s having a baby and pleads for Emma’s help.

After a fuel drum explodes the fire spreads…..

Tuesday

A frazzled Emma is ravaged with paranoia and is pointing the gun at every noise she hears. She hears a rustle and fires a shot in the dark.

Finn barely clings onto life as he lies on the ground. He tries to crawl towards the flashing blue lights, but it’s too painful and he eventually loses consciousness.

Wednesday

Finn’s slumped against a tree, his eyes are closed and there are no immediate signs of life.
Adam’s on the edge as the doctor checks Moira’s vitals.

Victoria tells a stunned Pete that Moira’s had a baby and he’s the father.

Finn’s at the side of the road and summons whatever energy he has left and staggers in front of Cain and Harriet’s car. They’re stunned as they rush to his aid.

Emma lifts the baby out of the incubator and panics when she sees the police.

Finn opens his eyes for a moment and then goes into cardiac arrest. Pete, Ross and Victoria watch on in horror as the medical team tries to resuscitate him.

Emma walks calmly towards the exit with the baby, completely unaware that her son is flat lining.

Thursday

Ross, Pete and Victoria are in a state of shock as the doctor confirms Finn’s death.

Ross struggles to process the news and Pete embraces him. Victoria’s confused when a nurse asks if the baby is with her.

Moira tries to get out of bed to search for her baby, Soon afterwards, Moira loses consciousness

Victoria rings to tell her that Harriet found the baby in the church. Moira’s relief is cut short and is stunned when Victoria tells her that Finn was shot. Tear stained Emma stands on the viaduct and climbs up on the wall. She shuts her eyes and prepares to jump.

Friday

Emma stands on top of the viaduct when Finn urges her to change her mind. She stares down at the drop as she continues to pray. Ross brings his car to an abrupt halt, he’s clearly tortured about something and goes to turn around.

Suddenly she falls backwards off the viaduct her smile fading to serene contentment as she falls. James and Finn appear beside Emma as she lies on the ground. They take her by the hand and she takes her last breath. When she closes her eyes, it’s clear that James and Finn are gone and that she’s completely alone.

Ross and Pete discuss Emma’s suicide and what she did to James. They’re both eaten up by guilt and emotion. Ross makes his way down the viaduct and sees Emma’s body. But when he hears a dog walker coming closer, he runs away from the scene. Emma’s left on the ground, still and serene

Me too, but I saw it was Joe Gills decision to leave and be killed off so cant blame Emmerdale. And it was actually that that triggered Emma's exit.

Emma's character was running out of steam, the emotional scenes after Finns death were pretty well executed

Emma was always going to leave this year. Her storyline/character has a shelf life.

She was supposed to be leaving earlier in the year, but they convinced Gillian to extend her contract so the conclusion could be played out for their annual October week.

Emma's obviously a great character and the actress has made even the terrible parts to this storyline bearable by being so good.

But, overall, this branch of the Barton clan has been a huge waste. James and Finn barely did anything before being killed off.

Strange week, quite a lot seemed rushed/unrealistic but it remained pretty tense. Emmas inevitable death by suicide seemed quite an anticlimax but that twist at the end makes things 10x more interesting.

Quite a few characters had motives to kill her, Ross was obviously there but part of me thinks someone else may have pushed her, both Gabby and Moira went walk abouts so they're probably the obvious ones atm.

Harriet is actually a good bet. She wants to stay away from Cain who's already associated with the murder, and she wants to leave the village. The only case against her I see that she isn't in the suspect list and she didn't have one of those flashback clues.

They have completely ruined Moira's character with this story but the police don't, and won't suspect her and even if they do she now has an alibi from Cain. It's whether or not she lets Adam get sent down for it (as that seems the way it's going) which leads to his departure.
