At points I forgot it was actually live, I think the only noticeable blips were Edna fumbling someones name, though that could have easily been part of the script because Edna was shaken at that point. The other was Kerry nearly tripping, that too could have easily been in character as Kerry had been at the party, so she could have been a bit tipsy

I noticed Kerry's trip, however I think the part with Edna was scripted. I mentioned the same thing at the time, but as someone pointed out to me, she went to call him vicar, then corrected herself, and called him Ashley.

Emmerdale did it best and they had it hardest, it's the first ever LIVE on location drama done, and it was done bloody well, EE and CS had their studios to fall back on, Emmerdale had nothing.

Fantastic episode, credit to the cast and crew. Tom Lister will be missed, good Actor and he seems such a nice guy. Carl was a brilliant character.

Shame that Carl and Chas' relationship had to end that way and the rushed way he finally confessed to killing his way over her was disappointing. I am just pleased that it was not Chas who they killed off:D.

ALL the main 3 soaps had fantastic episodes and their cast/crew will have been pleased, there is no point point scoring comparing whose was the best and whose was the worst etc, it all boils down to what you personally enjoyed.

I liked all 3 but EastEnders personally was my favourite because theirs contained two characters who I really liked- Stacey and Bradley.

The Dingles are my favourite family but they are a bunch of hypocrites, great chemistry from the actors though.

I know Chas is no angel and has to face the music but compared to the likes of Charity, Cain, Zak and Debbie she is saints compared to them.

Zak has suddenly forgotten that he tried to murder his own son and Debbie had an affair with Charity's husband as part of her mothers return storyline:rolleyes:.

I feel quite a bit of sympathy for Cameron, Debbie is a miserable bitch at the of times, but with Sarah being ill & then shagging her ex to get pregnant, I can understand him seeking comfort in Chas... Also although he did finish Carl off, Chas did whack him with a brick too & probably caused a fair bit of damage, so they are equally to blame for Carl's death in my eyes. At least Chas had the "he tried to rape me" self defence stance (not that the police believe her) but Cameron has no such excuse, just that Carl deserved it! So I can understand too why he is letting Chas take the blame...

Yay NOT GUILTY the right verdict:D. To see Debbie and Charity's face was the best part.

Debbie is so unlikeable and forgets that she had an affair with Charity's boyfriend when her mother returned and that Cameron left his wife and kids in Jersey to be with her, hypocrite.

Chas is my favourite character, she knows she has made mistakes and regrets some things that happened but cannot change it and is a good person at heart.

I think Debbie is playing a good part. Yes, she is over reacting, but she still loves Cameron, and it is her sheer jealousy that has turned her into a tragic, seething mess. If she cannot have him, nobody can, and her frustration spills over into vengeance and destruction. Although she could be self destructing. We could see a lot from this story line yet.

I think it is a bit silly how Cameron made Alex's departure look like a robbery at Edna's. If he had just taken his clothes and belongings, it would have looked like he had merely moved on, and nobody would have thought twice about it. Now the police are going to be on the lookout for him, and trying to trace his last movements. They are bound to come across some clues as to his whereabouts.

I agree with you, A lot of people have been put off in the past couple of months, it's going through a pretty bad patch.. Ever since the pub hostage last year with Cameron the writers have been terrible. Some of these storylines like the HIV one have been dragging on for months.

Caught a bit yesterday, tbh I think the HIV+ SL with Val has been a bit irresponsible.

Val shagged that chunky gruff guy and the message seemed to be it's ok for a hiv+ person not to disclose their STD (STI sounds too innocuous) status prior to safer sex. WTF? Victoria encouraged Val to be reticent about being hiv + when having safer sex. It was if Emmerdale was saying Val can keep quiet about her status as condoms will be used. Well nothing is 100% safe.

Sure folk with HIV+ can lead able lives, and medicine has improved, but the fact remains it will often lead to AIDS and it's still incurable .

Don't care if it's not PC. When it comes to sexual health actually people do have a right to know. It should have been angled that Val had been irresponsible and selfish by not telling her shag bloke and not angled as some sympathetic love lorn vixen who's the victim of chunky bloke's bigotry.
