Your view, I must admit I wanted the "Im your son/father" part a bit more dramatic, but the murder was a claassic. And at least it wont be the bloody who shot arcie storyline that will bloddy drag on for years

Emmerdale newcomer Jason Merrells is to feature in a love triangle storyline with co-stars Amanda Donohoe and Alice Coulthard, according to a report.

The former Cutting It actor has joined the soap in the role of businessman Declan, a new love interest for Donohoe's character Natasha Wylde.

However, The Sun today claims that Declan will also fall for Natasha's daughter Maisie, who is single after ending her relationship with Ryan Lamb (James Sutton) when he turned out to be her half-brother.

An Emmerdale source said: "Declan and Natasha hit it off straight away and it's clear there is a romantic spark between them. But then Declan meets Maisie."

The insider added: "Maisie needs a man in her life and thinks Declan is perfect. She's desperate to get over her relationship with Ryan and doesn't consider her mother's feelings."

Declan's early scenes will see him acquiring a stake of the Home Farm estate after murderess Natasha searches for investors.

In an interview with DS earlier this month, Emmerdale's series producer Gavin Blyth promised that Declan and Natasha would have "an intriguing relationship that stops and starts with various diversions en route".

Suzanne Shaw has really impressed me as Eve:), she's done acting before on stage so no surprise she's doing well at Emmerdale.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a Kim or Zoe Tate return if Natasha was to get found out or arrested to take over HF.

Aaron's behaviour of lashing out is so wrong, yet you can't help but feel sorry for the poor guy:(.. glad Chas and Paddy are there for him plus the Dingles when they know and also when he's ready to deal with it.

Nicola made me laugh tonight and nice to see the good side in Carl again as they have focused on the dark side.. Jimmy should grow a backbone too and stand up to Nicola instead of being treated like a doormat:rolleyes:, still they have a fun relationship.
