I was thinkign about this too, everyone is saying it's jack but I think it looks awfully feminine, so perhaps Juliette.

However if it was Jack then it would fit in with a theory I had that the bomb did reset time but only as far bacl as after they had crashed rather than vefore the plane took off and that Jack would wake up like in the first episode and it all starts again.

It's always been unrealistic. Within the first two hours there was a black pillar of smoke chasing a spinal surgeon, a convict and a junkie through a jungle where polor bears live. It's for entertainment anyway, not realism.

And now for some news that should surprise no one: ABC is expected to announce tomorrow that it has picked up a reboot of the camptastic '80s thriller V and that Lost heroine Elizabeth Mitchell is a full-time castmember.

Translation: She will not be returning to Lost as a series regular.

However, before you go declaring Juliet DOA from last week's detonated hydrogen bomb, I should point out that this piece of scoop comes with a big but attached: Mitchell's Lost days are not done. Multiple sources confirm that the actress is expected to appear in an unspecified number of episodes next season, so it's entirely possible Juliet survived Jughead and her absence will be explained in another way. (Check out Doc Jensen's column this Wednesday for a comprehensive Juliet theorypalooza.)

Jack and Kate bore me... Hopefully they died in 1977 >___>. The show could be doing with a major shake up, that would certainly be interesting. Locke gets annoying too, but at least his stories seem to be taking the storyline places, Jack and Kate just kind of run around a lot, shoot guns and change their minds about things a lot, it gets lame, and every so often they have a quiet moment where they talk about how they used to date - boring!

Viewers of ABC's "Lost" saw the body of a dead John Locke in the show's Season 5 finale Wednesday night. However, a very alive Terry O'Quinn, who plays Locke, was in Spartanburg on Thursday to play in the BMW Charity Pro-Am at Carolina Country Club.

Between holes, O'Quinn was happy to talk to fans about golf, the finale and the fate of his character in the show's final season, beginning in 2010.

O'Quinn called himself an OK golfer, saying he would be happy with an 85 or under.

"I played well on the front. A little bit rough on the back," he said as his group neared hole 17.

O'Quinn said he hasn't seen the finale and didn't know how the story was edited.

"Don't tell me," he joked. "I want to be surprised."

In the season cliffhanger, a bomb, which could prevent Flight 815 from ever crashing on the mysterious island, was detonated.

As for his character, O'Quinn says he's really gone. Locke's dead body was rolled out of a metal box toward the end of the two-hour episode, baffling islanders who had been following a Locke imposter. Exactly who is now occupying Locke's body wasn't revealed. O'Quinn said it would be "a good guess" to assume it's a man seen with the infamous Jacob in the beginning of the episode.

"I think, unfortunately, I think it's ended for Locke. But I'm still there, as far as I know," O'Quinn said. "I don't know how it's going to end for this other guy. I'm sad. I miss John Locke, poor guy. He was a pawn."

O'Quinn is gearing up to play a new character when the sixth season begins next year. As for the rest of the story line, he swears he has no idea.

"Your guess is honestly as good as mine is," he said. "There's going to be some confrontation that will somehow, I'm guessing, have to do with Jack or Locke or something like that. I think these guys are just setting up good and evil. It's the way Locke said in the very beginning of the show: One is light and one is dark. Two sides. I think that's what we've got."

first of all I thought, oh is that the end?... but then I RE-watched it! and figured out a lot of stuff! truly amazing!

Ben's Daughter in the Temple was actually Jacob's Nemesis telling Ben to listen to 'Locke'. But of course, Jacob's Nemesis was ALSO posing as Locke.

Jacob's nemesis can only transform into people who are dead ON the island. and he cannot kill Jacob directly. He has used ben to kill Jacob.

There is more into it, but thats the basics! awesome! I cant wait till season 6!!

I managed to do it for most of Season 5, but i'd read some things before it started that didn't pop up until late into the season. Like I knew that Jacob would meet Sawyer when he was a kid, and that the 06 would get back to the Island.

Team Darlton confirmed that all the beach camp survivors apart from Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Jin, Sun, Rose, Bernard, Vincent and Sayid are now all dead or off the Island.

Most were wiped out during Season Four in the mercenaries attack on Othersville and when the freighter exploded, and the rest died in the flaming arrow attack on the beach and the bomb explosion at the creek. Rose and Bernard's appearance confirmed it in the show itself.

Claire will be returning next year.

Michael Emerson has predicted a sad ending for Lost.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actor - Benjamin Linus in the ABC series - said that he does not believe the show will finish on a high note.

"I don't think Lost will have a happy ending," he revealed. "It's the end and I think we are going to start seeing more casualties. I would put money on major characters being killed. I believe it will be a sad ending to the show - or at least bittersweet."

He added: "I think it will definitely be a series finale for grownups."

Discussing the season five finale, Emerson admitted that he is struggling to understand what happened.

"I killed Jacob. Maybe. Probably," he said. "It isn't like we haven't seen plenty of other people be killed and somehow come back. And what does it mean if I did kill him? Who the hell was he anyway?

"Obviously, Ben wanted a father. So much of our show is about bad fathers. It is one of our biggest themes. And Jacob disappointed in those final moments. And maybe Jacob made it easy for him. Maybe that was all meant to happen. Is it all ordained? Maybe."

He teased: "And for that matter, can Jacob even be killed? Stay tuned is my response."

They explain to Lost Magazine that the final season is just that - the FINAL season. They believe the fans want to see where the characters end up more than what the monster is. Although they know we would LIKE to know, they admit,

Producers: 'Lost sequel a possibility'

The executive producers of Lost have hinted that season six may not mark the end of the franchise.

Damon Lindelof told The Hollywood Reporter that while the "definitive edition" ends in May, he believes that a sequel could happen at some point in the future.

"The definitive edition of Lost ends this May on ABC, and that is the story that we have to tell," he said. "It has a beginning, middle and end.

"That ending will not have cliffhangers, or be set up in such a way that people will be saying, 'Clearly they're going to make more of these'. We don't have any connection to another TV series or movie, but there's a new A-Team movie coming out, for God's sake."

Carlton Cuse added: "The Walt Disney Co. owns Lost. It's a franchise that's conservatively worth billions of dollars. It's hard to imagine Lost will rest on the shelves and nothing will ever be made with Lost.

"Eventually somebody will make something under the moniker of Lost - whether we do it or not. We just made a commitment to this group of characters whose stories are coming to a conclusion this May."

Lost returns for its sixth and final season Tuesday, February 2 on ABC.

Michael Emerson has claimed that Lost fans will argue when the series finale airs later this year.

The 55-year-old actor, who has starred as Benjamin Linus since 2006, told TV Guide that not all viewers will be satisfied with the way the series ends.
