Can someone explain to me the selection process for the 4 that entered The Vault?

Ok. But the 2 with the lowest votes out of 8 doesn't equate to the two with the lowest votes out of 4.

Let's put Thomas, Segun, Marcello and Emma in there.

Emma might be in the lead. Who knows where Marcello is?

In that scenario, Thomas and Segun might have been shown the back door. Possibly Marcello. We don't know.
