well it clearly does do her favours as her first week sales proved after her last performance.
She is an artist in an extremely competitive market(especially for female singers at the mo). Of course she's going to take the opportunity to perform if offered. Any artist would. Its not like there are lots of big shows for artists to perform on these days either.
She put on a great show. Some were just staring at her mouth desperate to see her be out of sync at some point.
Cheryl came to prominence on a similar talent show where she sung live week in week out. She was a winner on that show. Her days of having to prove her vocals on shows like this are over. Been there done that.
