...I guess if it was flipped the other way, you wouldn’t not get into a romantic relationship with someone who earns considerably less../...I’m sorry, I can’t live you, your salary just isn’t high enough...
 ..?...for me and I think for many...it’s always been an equal ‘contribution’ in terms of percentage of income...
