Yes and no, we can do something in terms of boycotting companies and corporations that won't comply, but 90+% of the problem is caused by industry and there's nothing we can directly do about that at all.

I agree about industry,but,it's not like we are doing nothing about it,goals have been set and as someone else said,change won't happen overnight .

I don't knowingly buy anything from China. I know there may be some Chinese components in other things I buy... but I boycotted Chinese goods years ago and I wrote to the Chinese Embassy telling them so. Sadly, they produce cheap stuff and that's all some people are interested in.
