Now I get sooo many scam phone calls from asian sounding people that I just hang up when it’s clear that it’s a scam .

Usually the name is a giveaway
Asian women called Esme or Alice and asian males called Derek ..


Anyways if I get an asian voice telling me that I had won a million pounds I’d just hang up

Is this more box ticking or is Lotto run by Asians ( like soooo many business now are )

You have to call the lottery people if you think you have won so not sure how it would be a scam? How would they have the phone number of someone who had a winning ticket?

They only call you if you’ve bought your ticket online and haven’t claimed it. There’s contact details.

If a random voice told me I’d won a mil, I’d obviously be suspicious — that’s just called having a brain. But you? You hear an Asian voice and short-circuit. The problem’s not scams, it’s that you’ve got racism on autopilot.
