That said, I do think the BBC should’ve handled the broadcast better. If they were already editing out other things — like the “Free Palestine” shout — then leaving in language that could be taken as offensive feels inconsistent. And regardless of intent, it must have been awful for the presenters to hear that shouted at them live.
