I think some backward places in the US offer "straight camps" where they try and turn gay people, there was a guy on the radio who'd been to one because he was a Christian fundamentalist and believed he was commiting a sin by being gay :/

From what I remember (it was over a year ago now) the "treatment" was successful and he was now straight, so he said anyway.

Its disgusting that they do stuff like that. All it does is suppress your true feelings. People who send relatives to places like that are so selfish .
