What on earth are you talking about? What an odd comparison to make. Science has been stretched to agendas in the past, yes, but it is on the whole a fool proof system for proving things and making the world work. Hospitals were built by science. Rockets were put in the sky by science. Science works. It hasn't got all the answers yet but it's not meant to. It's an ever evolving, ever growing network of
proven things. What do you think religious people do first when someone has a heart attack, say a prayer or phone an ambulance?
How in any of Daffy Duck's wettest dreams can you draw up a comparison between that and picking and choosing segments of some dog eared, highly altered, bronze age tract where the only criteria for validity and factuality being liking some bits but not others? Do you not think The Bible had vested interests?
