strategic style of gameplay is admired on shows such as 'Survivor'.
However there is a tendancy not to like this in the UK. So it is partly a
cultral preference issue.

Even as strategic players, there are many ways you can do this.
I think the Twins are precieved as playing with a cold ruthless style
that does not come down well.
This is opposite to players such as Yel Kwon on 'Survivor: Cook Islands'
who held on to the respect of his jury members.
Last time i looked this was BIG BROTHER UK,We do not suffer fools gladly ,nor do the majority of the British public like arrogance and downright nastiness, certainly not in Northern UK

And it's for that precise reason that Natalie in particular got the old heave ho on Friday night. You can bet her fellow witches Denise and Nicola will follow suit soon.

The Americans are showing the British housemates up - for it's the British ones that are being arrogant and downright nasty.

You heard the witches - so arrogant they are none of them could believe that Kirk and Natalie went - even she herself was gobsmacked. And you call the American's arrogant! LOL

I don't think Americans are a race, so it's not really racism.

American is a nationality and a culture. Racism includes culture, nationality, and ethnicity, it's not just the color of your skin.. Pakistani isn't a race eigther, it's a nationality, but it's racist to call someone a P@ki, isn't it?

Most white Americans, are of European heritage, and fled Europe to be free of religious persecution. Ironically, to a place now rife with religious persecution. Work that out.

"P@ki" has a historical context to it, that disliking Americans doesn't. They are also of Middle eastern/Arabian descent. Which certainly is a race. I think xenophobic is the correct word (as another poster already mentioned), but it's not racism. We are generally of the same race.

xenophobia is racism. Racism is a catch all word. Saying that anti-Americanism isn't racism, is actually a racist statement in and of itself.

Would you say that Americans that hate Mexicans are racists? I would. Even though both America and Mexico are both majority white european countries.

If i said i hate Muslims they are all terrorists, that would be called racist. Hitler kiling jews was called racist, even though most of the jews he killed were white europeans too.

No it is not. It is a fear or hatred of strangers or anything/one foreign.

Did the poster say they disliked all Americans, or the few American HM's that have been in CBB? Because there definitely is a distinction.

Jews are a race of people, though.
