I think if a male houstmate pulled down a female housemates pants they would be sent packing. Maybe not in previous Big Brothers, but I do think in this one it would happen. Things have changed, BB is much more inclined to 'play it safe' these days, it appears.

Do I think Daley was wrong? Obviously. Do I think both Daley and Hazel's actions contributed to things getting to the point to where it was 'out of hand'? Absolutely. From what I can tell in the video, Hazel was the one who was went to Daley's bed initially, she's the one who took his covers and refused to give them back when he asked. She's the one who started the 'play fighting' and then pulled Daley's pants down. Daley obviously shouldn't have taken it as far as he did and was rightly sent home because of his eventual actions, but Hazel's actions are a contributing factor to the development and escalation of that situation as well.

Really because I believe BB should have stepped in when he went outside to Hazel and told her BB had told her she had to go to bed.

She asked if that was true which he then swore it was on his kids lives when he was lying.

That should have sent off warning signs.

He was the one who forced her into the situation, she was outside talking to Charlie and he was the one who made her go to bed.

she was keeping him awake, again your bias chooses to ignore this. sleep deprivation is cruel and bullying. then she took his bed clothes, jumped on him and demanded hugs etc all designed to humiliate him and destroy his relationship outside. all factors you choose to ignore because youre biased

What BB should and shouldn't have done about someone's pants being pulled down, and whether that decision would be the same for a male or a female is all just fogging the issue.

Whatever Hazel did does not warrant Daley putting his hands on her in an aggressive way. That's just the way it is. No amount of conjecture and "what ifs" will change the fact that he assaulted her.

no its not its a separate issue....weve dealt with daley hes a disgrace and putting your hands on someones throat is immediate expulsion.....the issue we are now addressing is her behaviour and also the way big brother abdicated its responsibilities until very late on

He went to bed an hour before.

She was outside talking to Charlie so why did he have to have her to go to bed for him to sleep?

BB turned the lights off for him and closed the shutters.

IHe told her she had to go to bed and swore on his childs life and you're supporting that?

Sexual assault lol i have made my point the situation is completely different than the one you have gave. Live national tv, big brother isn't live 24/7 they know that, i know that, we all know that, we have a live show, for half an hour or an hour. At that moment in time when there arguing or playfully arguing i'm pretty sure there thoughts aren't on the cameras :S their alone, to them it may of felt being in the bedroom of there home, is that a criminal assualt to pull the pants down of my mrs at home in the bedroom, no it's not. had hazel and daley been flirting for the passed couple of weeks yes, did they have sex or at least a fumble under the covers the night before yes they did, so the whole situation has changed and this equals not a criminal offense, esp when they forget about the camera's at what ever time it was at night with the lights off.

he thinks Im sexist and mysoginist despite the fact I always give my genuine opiunion and can prove that I am not biased and have offered 100s of opinions in favour of both sexes in 100s of situations over many years...he on the other hand is almost universally in favour of female housemates in almost every situation. I consider that sexist. he did nothing to ask for denise welch to be booted for physically and verbally abusing Michael madsen, nor for the time the same housemate sexually assaulted the American twin by pulling down her pants, denise ONLY got a warning for pulling their pants down, she got nothing for the abuse she dished out to madsen. why? because shes a woman and hes a big man.....yet this poster trolls all day on this, yet claims he didn't defend Michael madsen because that would be trolling? this makes no sense. he is biased and imho sexist

Realistically, don't we need to put some of the blame for the escalation of this on Big Brother?

When Hazel first smacked Daley shouldn't BB have stepped in? Then, when Daley smacked Hazel's ass shouldn't BB have stepped in? What about when Hazel pulled down Daley's shorts?

Its not different at all. the law still applies. if you factor in the intention which was pulling his pants down, exposing his private parts to millions of viewers, designed to humiliate him and also his friends and families. the law and the intent are totally against what she did. why did big brother wait hours before issuing her a verbal warning for these actions? if they deemed it inappropriate then why didn't they call her in straight away? oh I forgot they deliberately waited until it escalated. shame on them

exactly right....BB created the entire situation and didn't resolve until way too late.....bit like the jerry springer show,, they invite simpletons,, goad them into battle then drag them off and moralise to the audience

Again.

Dexter is my fav and he has a penis.

Jackie is my least favourite and has a VAGINA.

LOL.

How am I sexist plus i did defend madsen back in 2012 and wanted him to win.

You really are just making things up now and I have reported you so hopefully you will finally get the ban you deserve.

If you want to talk about the law, truth, then you need to understand what is meant by "intent". You cannot equate what happened with Daley slapping Hazel and putting his hands around her throat with her yanking on his shorts.

I know some people on here don't like Hazel, but I am actually nauseated at the things that have been said about her, and I hope to God that none of you are called for jury service - ever.

I get your end point but i see nothing wrong with the pants pulling down, and i'm not one to judge what her intentions was at the time, i mean i saw it that she thought it was a sexual thing between them to, i think she was just having a laugh pulling his pants down, because they've seen each others bits, and i honestly believe that they forgot about the camera's, how could anyone always remember that you have camera's on you. i don't think i could, but your point is worthy on that big brother should stepped in, but i think maybe big brother are having the same debates that night what were having in the forums, was it playful was it not, was it a sexual thing, did they want to see if it would change into a sexual thing yes i have no doubt, but did it go to far that they had to jump in when daley decided to try and nut her lol yes.
