But what is she to do?
Stoop to Helen's level and retaliate with childish insults?
Have an argument?

Will it not make things worse and therefore give those who feel she's bringing it on herself more ammunition? If she argues with her it'll be all "Well Jale screamed at Helen, what does she expect?"
