Will it not make things worse and therefore give those who feel she's bringing it on herself more ammunition? If she argues with her it'll be all "Well Jale screamed at Helen, what does she expect?"

If she just sits there and takes it and she suddenly explodes with rage those kind of comments will come anyway.
