I'm not sure I understand the sentiment that it doesn't matter what she said outside of the house. Would you vote for a convicted rapist if they were in the house?

Big Brother is a competition where the public votes for one of the contestants to win, presumably because they believe that person has qualities worth praising.
So her comments where she crudely mocks a woman who is near death are very relevant to a popularity based show like Big Brother.
