Plenty of unfunny jokes out there, offensive ones and inoffensive ones.

Plenty of funny ones too, some offensive, some inoffensive.

Thank God we live in a country where we can make cutting edge jokes. Anyone who doesn't like it, i suggest they move to a country where freedom of expression is seriously repressed, and see how they like it there.

We are still fairly repressed in the UK when it comes to freedom of expression and speech. There is a very fine line regarding what the British are allowed to say and what will get them raked over the hot coals and Hopkins walks on that knife edge.

No, not really. People create threads for the purpose of discussion, not for someone to just write the topic off as pointless.

As they (quite rightly) said, people might as well ignore topics they deem pointless and spend their time elsewhere. Saying just that doesn't equate to someone starting threads and then not wanting answers.

If someone thinks that KH detractors should shut up and "just accept" that others like her, fine, but some people evidently do want to discuss the topic. Anyone who deems it pointless can very easily ignore it, that was their point, and quite a reasonable one too.
