The lost boys- I have been saying this one to Niamh for awhile now
Gone with the wind- because I have to rewatch it every 5 years or so
Love Story (1970)- it has mixed reviews online, but I remember watching it once in the Late 90's and I had sever bronchitis and was a bit of a love sick fool, so I think I might like to view it again with a clear head
Oooh i love Lost Boys, i thought Corey Haim was the cutest boy back then

I haven't seen the other 3 movies, so will look forward to it if one of them gets picked.

My suggestions would be:

Gremlins
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
Pretty in Pink (never seen this film)

Great choices... I have Pretty in Pink on DVD and could rewatch it a 1000 times....so yes! And I have only seen Cuckoos Nest once on TCM but I missed the first bit.

Oooh i really want to watch Pretty in Pink now!

One flew over the Cuckoos nest is brilliant, if it doesn't get chosen i'd recommend you watch it in full.

In regards to your review, that whole line up scene apparently was meant to be serious but Benicio Del Torro farted at the start of it and all the actors couldn't stop laughing and they actually decided to use that instead, so alot of that scene isn't even acting

the laughter made it that much more brilliant

Yeah, I didn't have a problem following it tbh

So my review:

Spoiler:

While I didn't quite know that the tale he was spinning for the detective was 100% made up... I guessed pretty early on that Verbal was Kaiser. Maybe I thought so because it's what I have come to expect of Kevin Spacey in movies, but I did not believe that it was Keaton at all. I didn't find the movie that hard to follow... except for trying to figure out wtf Benico Del Torro was saying, which apparently is mute because he was a write off character anyways. But over all I thought is was a great movie, and I loved the acting/actors in it.
I will give it a solid 7.7/10 cause I don't know that it deserves status in the 80% bracket. But it was enjoyable and I am glad our little club brought it up to watch
