We have our tree up, still a few things to put out yet, still to christmasise (new word?) the bedroom and add the window lights but yeah most is up/out now

..we're actually going to have Christmas in a hotel, its the first time we've done it so I hope it's ok..it's harder when your children have partners because they have two families so Christmas can't stay the same forever with traditions etc, so over the last few years we've created new traditions just so that it doesn't feel like, aww wasn't it lovely when and also so that they don't feel so stretched themselves in rushing around.../anyways they're all coming over to spend some time with us at the hotel as well../differing amount of times, plus some other family and friends are coming as well so it's going to be something different for all of us...

i actually have a strand of gold tinsel up in the living room, in about feb smallest boy LT noticed that we had not taken it down so we decided to keep it up all year

As much as we have done is hubby put the outside tree lights on yesterday, ready for my birthday.
We will probably bring our little tree in from outdoors into the garage, then the cold utility before we shock the beggar into submission sometime next week.
I know exactly how the room will look as the same decs go up every year.

Our kitten broke the tree before it could even be decorated, so no tree this year. We don't really bother with any other decorations.

This was taken when our tree first went up so it's a little different now with presents under it but here is our tree
