I do believe in love. And I do think it's possible to love more than one person and that there are many different kinds of love, though I think most people are lucky to find one love so it's probably rare to find two. I don't think it's something you look for as much as much as something that happens and takes you by surprise. Mr Jaxie and I have been besotted with each other since we were 18. I got married at 19 and no, I wasn't pregnant, first kidlet came along about 5 years later and we became besotted all over again with this living expression of our love. We are still married. Being together is so easy, we just fit like a glove. Love does grow and it changes and it's still there now children are grown. I'm quite a cynic in many ways but the only way I can describe it is that we just clicked into place and neither of us have ever had any regrets. He's a good match for me, he's a great father and has a kind heart. He's also rather handsome! He also likes cats and the littlest one is inclined to sleep on his head, earning her the sometime nickname 'bedhat'. So there you are. I don't know if it works that way for others but that's how it worked for me.
And Merry Christmas, Josie and the rest of you!
