No, of course not every argument boils down to the above, but it’s pretty obvious when someone is being racist or xenophobic or homophobic and when someone like the OP feels attacked, “get over yourself” isn’t really the answer

I know, I was just saying that in general because so many people use this excuse. I could flip it back and say how do you know they are factors?

I mean sometimes somebody is just a straight up fool and the argument is related to something completely different.
If there had been some proof that Tom was gay I wouldn't even bother posting this, but there is no evidence so for him to just assume he is gay doesn't make logical sense. Plus as JerseyWins pointed out, there are alternatives like maybe jealousy.
