Not a fan of cottage cheese, melted cheddar in a baked potato though yummy, no frozen spuds though, you need to bake it yourself

Girl just buy a potato and put it in the oven? Why do you need to buy a frozen one?

Potatoes are best twice-cooked which is why the microwave ones are always nice and soft. But if you want it the “proper” way, you could bake it yourself in the oven for an the day before, let it cool, stick it in the fridge, then cook it again when you actually want it. Will be softer and fluffier than baking once from raw.
I actually think the microwave ones in a box are fine, though ![]() |

I've always found that the awful frozen jacket spuds are inedible.

Just no.
![]() If you are going to eat a jacket spud then pop it in the micro until just soft, then in the oven until crispy. I would rather walk on coals than eat a jacket spud. |

…so you just pop it into a microwave like you would with any potato …?…but with the addition of unnecessary packaging to unwrap first and maybe even plastic traces etc…should I sue…?….

Really lazy way of cooking, you can understand microwave meals but frozen potatoes are we really that lazy to wait an hour for them to cook?
