Also she would have been allowed likely access to her daughter but in the light of the fact that her conviction may not be overturned on appeal, no way would she be allowed to take her daughter back to permanent residence with her, due to the fact this could cause emotional distress to a minor and also create an instability to the minor too until the conviction was ( if it was) overturned.

Loved Rita singing though, they should have done it sooner, Corrie fans would have likely had her number one for Christmas if they had.

Yeah, it's pretty sloppy on the writers part, they should really do their homework before ploughing ahead with unrealistic storylines. Obviously it's a soap, but it's entirely unfeasible which makes the whole story a bit ridiculous if you ask me.

Oh yeah, just went and had a look over there, they're really ripping into Kate Ford. I didnt think her acting was that bad but she is a completely vile character, but I suppose that's the point :laugh: It makes Deidre slightly unlikeable as well I think because she doesnt seem to care what her daughter does, she just sighs and then goes "Oh, Tracy" but turns a blind eye mostly. I liked it when Graham just said "Well Ashley was my mate, so shame on you!"

Caught glimpes of last night's episode, going to watch the full episode in a bit. One bit I was disgusted with though was when Amy was wearing her cheerleader outfit from Becky and Steve and Tracy kept making snide remarks about it and eventually chucked a glass of red wine over it. I'm actually not sure why he didn't refuse to do that storyline either trying to sell the house from uner her Soppy as I sound I want them to live as a family with Jack. OK Sal would never forgive him or sleep in the same room but Jacks like a pass the parcel at the moment!

Hmm. Well, Tracy's come out with a v long string of really harsh comments, about Claire and especially Ashley. Also, Claire's very sensitive to other people's feelings- we've seen her watching Tracy insult others on several occasions, so she prob feels it's an act of revenge for everyone else too. Or has taken this opportunity, knowing she's one of the least likely to be suspected.

Also, think she's still mad for that nonsense Tracy involved her in before her imprisonment. So there's a fair decent motive overall. If it is her, I say good for her and hope she escapes, unrumbled :D

Colin Fishwick is a character portrayed by David Crellin. He is an old teaching acquaintance of John Stape's, who invites John to his goodbye party as he is moving to Canada). At the party, John takes the opportunity to steal enough of Colin's identification to be able to impersonate him at a school. John secures a teaching job using Colin's identity, until Colin makes a untimely return to Weatherfield in July 2010. It is soon revealed that Colin had been having an affair with a married woman prior to his departure and ends up receiving a beating from the woman's husband after Fiz Stape tells him where Colin is working.

Colin attempts to blackmail John stating that he will tell the police about the identity theft unless he gives him £2,000 to flee the country. On 30 July 2010, in the middle of a heated argument with John and former teaching colleague Charlotte Hoyle, Colin suddenly collapses and dies. Thinking that the police will accuse John of killing Colin, John persuades Charlotte to help him dispose of the body in the charred remains of the Underworld factory. They stick his body in a hole until the next day as John attempts to get the body from the hole and get rid of it, John sees the builder's working in the factory have filled the hole with concerete.
