Annoying how Tina's really unreasonable and never listens to anyone else, always just thinks she's right and should decide everything

Poor Terry gets robbed, threatened and insulted within 2 minutes in the Rovers and then next thing he knows Tina is ruining all his plans

Scarlett.
09-05-2012, 09:39 PM
I agree, Terry is trying to find a way that he can pay back the debts AND stay with Tommy, and Tina is just ruining everything

Mrluvaluva
14-05-2012, 08:57 PM
He seems to fit in better during light hearted scenes. He didn't really cut the serious stuff for me.

I suppose there will be questions now over their future together, which will develop over the next few weeks. Paul is angry and Eileen is hurt. She could not cope and told him many times, but he chose to ignore that. Now he blames her. I am sure their love for each other will bring them back together, and then all the gossip will start. Norris will have them down as murderers.

I have a feeling "Wetherfield in Bloom" will be quite funny. I heard Gail gets professional help (god knows she needs some), and with Sally causing annoyance, and Audrey being a judge, there is going to be a spanner in the works, and I am sure Mad Mary will want revenge...

Gary and Izzy are to have a baby in an upcoming Coronation Street storyline.

In episodes due to air in the next few days, the couple look after Faye and discuss the prospect of having a family.

It looks as if it will be happening sooner than they think, however, as, according to All About Soap, Izzy (Cherylee Houston) will soon confide in Fiz that she's pregnant.

This could spell trouble for their relationship - bad boy Gary (Mikey North) has shown a softer side in recent months, but is still unsure if he's ready for the responsibility of starting a family.

Izzy is determined to keep the baby with or without him, which leads to her own health fears threatening her happiness.

Viewers will be kept waiting to see whether Gary will choose to leave Izzy, or if he'll stick by her during her time of need.

My thoughts exactly. And Leanne is always saying she is doing what she is doing for Simon's sake. Not that the added bonus of hurting Peter and a chance of a little revenge has ever entered her mind.

I just read about Lloyd's comeback next month on DS:

Over on Coronation Street, old friends become bitter rivals as Lloyd Mullaney's return to Weatherfield spells trouble for Steve McDonald.

Steve (Simon Gregson) finds Lloyd in an embarrassing situation early next month when he spots that Lloyd has broken down while working in a taxi owned by rival firm Prima. Explaining that the job is a stop gap, a sheepish Lloyd is forced to reveal that he lost most of his money in an ill-advised property deal.

Lloyd (Craig Charles) is delighted when Steve immediately takes pity on him, offering him a spare room at the flat and a place back at Streetcars. The only problem is that Lloyd wrongly assumes Steve wants him back as co-owner rather than just a driver!

Later, Lloyd excitedly tells Steve that the bank has agreed to lend him the money to buy back into Streetcars. However, following a bad day, Steve loses patience - announcing in no uncertain terms that he's not selling shares after the mess Lloyd left him in last time.

As the week continues, events take a strange turn for Steve when several of his clients start calling up to cancel their Streetcars accounts. Steve is shocked to hear that they've all decided to start using a new business called Fare Ladies, which offers better rates and female drivers.

It soon transpires that Lloyd is the mastermind behind the rival company, having used his bank loan to buy a local firm that went bust. Making no apologies for his betrayal, Lloyd reminds Steve that he offered him the chance to go into business and was turned down.

Lloyd's ruthless side continues as he invites Eileen (Sue Cleaver) out for a meal at the Bistro, asking her to quit Streetcars in favour of a higher salary at Fare Ladies.

http://i1.cdnds.net/12/25/618x346/04_07_coro_eileen_steve_lloyd_03.JPG

When Steve interrupts their meeting, he's furious over Lloyd's latest stunt - and a shocked Eileen soon finds herself at the centre of a bidding war between the two men! Where do Eileen's loyalties lie? And will Steve and Lloyd's feud spiral out of control?

Scarlett.

More news re: Steve & Lloyd

When Tracy turns up at Fare Ladies hoping to land the job of switch operator, Lloyd is suspicious. However, Tracy claims that Steve is trying to evict her and she wants to get her revenge as much as he does. Lloyd buys Tracy's tale and gives her the job. With her training complete, Lloyd heads out and Tracy sets to work, sending cabs the wrong way and passing on bookings to Steve so that he can intercept jobs.

Later, as Lloyd heads back to Eileen's after a tough day, Tracy seizes the opportunity to hand Steve the details of Lloyd's contracts so he can undercut Fare Ladies. But when Eileen spots them talking, will she put two and two together?

As Tracy makes plans with Steve for Amy's sports day later, she turns it into a row for Lloyd and Eileen's benefit. But at Fare Ladies, Tracy takes the keys to the cars and furtively opens the petrol caps. When the cars fail to start, an annoyed Lloyd calls Tyrone who reveals they've been sabotaged - someone has put something in the fuel tanks.

Lloyd is gutted, revealing to Eileen that the cost of repairs could put him out of business. Unable to hold her tongue any longer, Eileen suggests that he has a mole in his camp. Will Lloyd catch Tracy out?

Steve is watching Amy at sports day when Lloyd comes charging towards him. Realising he's baying for blood, Steve runs. However, Lloyd catches up with him and tackles him to the ground. As a fight ensues, the kids watch in horror.

Arriving at the scene, Tracy is forced to confess to sabotaging Lloyd's cabs. Steve is furious and as Brian gives them both a lecture, Steve apologises to Lloyd before returning to the street to have it out with Tracy. When Steve admits that he should never have got involved with her again, Tracy is hurt - she was trying to save his business and expected him to be grateful. Will Steve forgive Tracy, and can he and Lloyd find a way forward?

Chewy, what's happening with Corrie news? Are you having a hiatus from posting?

I missed that bit but saw her running off upset. What happened? I saw the previous post. Is it something to do with dancing?

That whole scenario with the rat in the pub was like a bad sitcom. Made even worse by Sunita and Eva's atrocious acting.

It was done with some kind of slapstick humour, but that's sort of the reason I find it funny, because the scenarios and reactions of some of the characters are totally over the top and are written purely for laughs.

Same, its funny to see character acting like that every so often, I don't think I'd like Corrie half as much if it wasnt for silly storylines like that :joker:

I was just reading about...

Peter going missing and Ken and Leanne having to identify a body fished out of the canal that is obviously not him anyway. "A shell-shocked Ken and Leanne face the ordeal of identifying the body lying in the police morgue. Both are sombre but relieved when the corpse does not belong to Peter. When the good news filters back to the street, a relieved Carla is comforted by Rob.

As Leanne comes to terms with the fact that Peter is still missing, her world is rocked further when she arrives at school with Nick to collect Simon to be told that Simon was taken home by Peter. Leanne leaves Peter a fraught phone message, demanding to know where Simon is. However, when she receives no reply, her mood darkens. Leanne's head is spinning - has a despairing Peter abducted Simon?"

Hope he has and this is where Carla and Peter take Simon away. Those pics at Victoria Station are hopefully of Leanne finding them there, just before they take off with Simon, and there's nothing she can do. (Although obviously she could just get the police to intercept the train, but I am not sure what they have agreed legally to be honest.
