So basically I orchestrated a little 'alliance' between myself, Liam and Tom at the beginning of the game, if we were the task leader we wouldn't pick each other to go into isolation. Obviously Tom was task leader and didn't put us in, but then it failed because he ended up being eliminated pretty early on. Anyway, at the beginning of the game, I'd also gotten friendly with Amy, and was figuring that maybe if I was friendly enough with her, that she wouldn't put me up when she task leader either (although I do enjoy your chats ect Amy, don't think I used you for the game). Me and Liam continued our little 'alliance' but I also brought Amy into the mix also and as you'll see, me, Liam and Amy were consecutive task leaders and ensured that none of us were put up for isolation. That was all my idea, I want it on record, in hope you all think it's brilliant and I get credit for it, but if it is something Shaun perceives to be bad, I do take full responsibility and wish for Liam and Amy not to be punished also. So yeah, that's what I did in the game, to all the people who think I did nothing to get here (considering I only have 1 vote in the winner poll).

This kinda thing happens in every game, its good game playing to get far, can usually backfire on people though. You get tons of fake alliances and backstabbing.

I don't expect to win, I think as a killer most of the work is less obvious but thank you if anyone does vote for me, I really did put a lot of effort in and I feel like I took a lot of chances.

The task when I took immunity and peed off Liam and Luke was a bit of a turning point and still kept up fake alliances even when Shaun approached me to be a killer I still tried to help other players win tasks and made myself appear helpful and innocent. I also tried to cover my tracks by conversing with Shaun like I was an innocent player just incase the isolation votes were revealed.

I don't believe you should discount votes that are legit. 12 votes on a forum this large is not a grand #. It is a drop in the bucket really.
If you are saying Luke pm' me after voting started, it is true. We have been pm'ing for a couple of weeks about BB canada, and during the cult task I explained what a cult is to him. Obviously no advantage was gained on this b/c he came last.

I would also like to add, I don't know what the purpose of the open poll for people not in the game was for. Obviously it was going to have people vote in it who have not been following the game. If you didn't want people to vote who didn't know what was going on, it should not have been a public poll, or should not have existed at all. If you are going to discount votes, you should discount them all. The poll shouldn't count for anyone.
Even if someone did solicit votes for the public poll, I did not see any rules that would have discouraged them from doing so. A public poll such as this is only a popularity contest. If you didn't think the person with the most friends on here would win, you are naive.

Hmm. That is a fair point. I was hoping that some non-players would follow the game a little bit and maybe judge based on the table in the OP (how successful team leaders were, how good they were at getting immunity, etc.) but I suppose it was inevitable it'd turn that way. A couple of non-players have posted in here before and I thought they might want to vote - it's tradition really and has never been a problem in ICB finals before. Oh well.

No one solicited votes from me. I voted for who I did without any bias. I knew none of you coming in, and I followed the game fairly closely after I left. My vote was based on what I saw going on throughout.
I don't believe you should discount votes that are legit. 12 votes on a forum this large is not a grand #. It is a drop in the bucket really.
If you are saying Luke pm' me after voting started, it is true. We have been pm'ing for a couple of weeks about BB canada, and during the cult task I explained what a cult is to him. Obviously no advantage was gained on this b/c he came last.
So, for the record, no one at any time asked for my vote.

I would also like to add, I don't know what the purpose of the open poll for people not in the game was for. Obviously it was going to have people vote in it who have not been following the game. If you didn't want people to vote who didn't know what was going on, it should not have been a public poll, or should not have existed at all. If you are going to discount votes, you should discount them all. The poll shouldn't count for anyone.
Even if someone did solicit votes for the public poll, I did not see any rules that would have discouraged them from doing so. A public poll such as this is only a popularity contest. If you didn't think the person with the most friends on here would win, you are naive.

Reinstate the votes for LukeB or discount the poll all together. The only mistake made was in creating the poll. Accept that what you create Shaun was the problem and stop everyone from ostracizing one person who did a good job throughout this game, and broke no rules

My opinion is that the Poll should be reinstated. It's not fair for the other players that they have to suffer because of one persons extremely stupid doing. Like, In the music task (the one were I stupidly gave the players a hint), The only punishment was given to me, which was very fair as I caused the problem. Shaun didn't cause the problem, he just put trust in players which was unfortunately abused by Luke.

I agree with this tbh just because the poll situation, we don't know who voted who, I only asked the people who I talk to on here a lot to vote for me if they want because I don't remember any rules of this and i got the idea off another game, I only asked when I was at 2 votes then after Adam voted, i kept getting votes and i have no idea who they are and I was surprised i even got up to 12, I expected to stay at 5

That is a different type of game, tibb bb is a public vote and i had 3 people asking me to vote for them, it's always going to happen only asked a little amount of people who would actually vote for me as i talk to them alot, they was no rules of this anyway
