DIsclaimer: these events all take place at random times in a three hour window after the murders of Bella and Eli. If any of the survivors are the Killer, their 'story' may be intentionally erroneous so as to cover their tracks.

"Your sister? Do you mean Bella?" Reuben stammered, as the 16 year old Carter grabbed him by the ruffs of his jacket.
"Don't play dumb with me - what happened to Autumn?"
"I-" Reuben tried not to look at the bushes with the bodies, frightened that this might be this poor kid's sister, but Carter caught his eye. He stormed over to the side of the road and almost immediately screamed. Reuben was too scared to move.
"Who...who are they?" Carter asked, unmoving and oddly calm from where he stood.
"I don't know," Reuben admitted.
"Well you knew they were-"
"Look, I'm looking for someone too, have you seen this girl - a little shorter than me, brown hair, she's called Bella. Well she's actually called Isabel, but she goes by Bella-"
Carter grew tired of this boy's rambling. "How did you know there were two bodies here?" he demanded.
"Is she... Autumn?"
With time, Carter began to calm down and he realised that Reuben seemed just as horrified and confused about the discovery as he was, but for now he felt guilty over how relieved he was that this girl wasn't his older sister. "No," he replied, after a long pause.
Reuben's phone started vibrating, but when he rushed to check it, he was disappointed to see it was a text message from his father.
"Who's Bella?" Carter asked.
"This girl," Reuben started, when he had an idea. He began to run back up the road, since it only made sense that Bella couldn't have come into town whilst he was there.
Carter went to ask him to wait, but figured he wasn't much use anyway - he didn't seem like the kind of authority figure who'd find out about missing girls and track their brothers down online. He looked over to the spot where the two bodies lay and thought about sticking around, but they gave him the shivers. He decided to head into town, where he noticed that a fog was building and only one or two headlights were bothering to power up. The whole place seemed pretty frightening, but he'd definitely been told to come here. He looked down to his pockets to check his phone, but as he did he suddenly felt incredibly dizzy. The floor started spinning, and his legs felt weak.

"Oh, dear," the woman across from the church fretted, "Jack, come and see this," she pointed to the boy who'd just fallen to the ground at the junction down the road. "We've got to go and help."
"Stay here," Jack reassured his wife, "I'll go and give him this," he said, taking a gas mask from the cupboard by the front door. "

Danny had been ditched by Eli a few hours ago in his eagerness to find out who had invited him to Centralia. He'd followed the trail of gas mask paintings but they only led to a clearing in the wooded area surrounding much of Centralia. Figuring it was more of a lead than anything else he'd found, he headed into the woods and tried calling out for people. After a couple of minutes his voice grew hoarse and even his shining optimism about the whole adventure was beginning to wear thin, but he soon stumbled across an abandoned jeep.

"Hello?" Danny hesitated, as he noticed a small outhouse - or possibly a garage? - a few yards behind it. He could just about make out someone locking the doors to it, when they noticed Danny's voice.
"Ah, hi, you must be Daniel!" they cried, gesturing him down the small muddy hill to join them.

Carter came to and noticed straight away that it was around about midnight. He sat up - he was in the road, for some reason, and which road he was unsure, when he noticed he was wearing a gas mask. He went to take it off, when his eyes cleared and he could see the fog - or rather, a shroud of smoke, engulfing the town. Perhaps it was best to keep it on.
Illuminated in the smoke he could just about make the outlines of a house to his right, and he soon realised the light wasn't coming from one of the few lamps dotted around town, but it took on a brighter, more white hue. He decided to head towards it.

The projection, coming from something stowed away up in a tree, lit up the entire wall of what looked like a library, or the town hall - it had a grander feel about it, both in size and formality. Carter tried to climb the tree, but couldn't quite find the footing. He'd just about given up when, with much squinting through the goggles in his mask - quite steamed up from the effort of trying to climb - he noticed a thin piece of thread dangling from the tree. He pulled at it lightly, and it indeed felt like something was moving with it. With a sudden yank, and a jump backwards just to be safe, the object fell from the tree and the light around him disappeared. He'd sent the projector crashing to the ground, breaking it into a small cluster of metal and glass. On the back of the main console was a small sticker label, and although much of the light had just been extinguished by his vandalism, he could make out the name on it.

Danny slid down the small hill and straightened up at the foot of it, noticing that the garage owner had gone inside. He headed up to the garage doors and was suddenly blinded by two stage lights on either side of the room.

"Cool costume," Danny gasped in awe, "so is this a world war two thing or what? And that lighting behind you, that's not going to be that bright for the duration of filming is it? I mean I guess I could ignore it but-"
"Shut up," the figure in the gas mask groaned.
"Oh, I like that gadget - it disguises your voice as well as your face! Like one of those hackers you see in crime dramas or something-"
"I said shut up," Danny did. "I'm afraid the show's been cancelled. Lack of funding, I believe-"
"Just fantastic," Danny rolled his eyes, "I bet this is FOX again, I was just bloody getting into Utopia-"
Danny's fixation with reality TV was a cruelly ironic distraction from his own, very grim one. As he launched into a rant on the shortlived FOX series, the figure came up to his face and shoved him to the ground. As Danny struggled, the figure wrapped some ropes around his arms and legs, and bound his mouth with tape, before pushing Danny into a small hole in the ground used for surveying the underside of cars. Danny's head thudded against the concrete, and seemingly within seconds, the killer had returned with the jeep from up the road and was placing it onto the lifting mechanism above him. The figure removed the jeep's wheels and with a push of the button, the car was lowered onto Danny's writhing body. He could hear his own ribs cracking.

Danny's story...

Danny had always been a massive fan of reality TV shows. He'd watched them all from Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Mole. He'd always hoped to get onto them but his applications were never responded to. He didn't understand why; he knew he would be amazing at them as he had studied them for hours on end and knew he had what it took to win no matter what the game was, plus he knew he could be pretty ruthless if need be,

Then one day an email came, personally addressed to him.

Dear Danny,

thank you for your recent interest and video audition for our reality gameshow but unfortunately we do not feel you are right for it at the current time

However, we do have a new format for an up and coming game which we feel your personality would be most suited and it will test your ability to biggest challenge of all.

The game will commence on (31st October (is that when the game starts?) in Centralia, Pennsylvania.

We can not go into more detail of the game at this point as we want all contestants to have to think on their feet from the offset, but we can see how passionate and determined you are, so this should not prove difficult for you.

Please let us know asap if you are interested in playing as it is a first come first serve basis.

He couldn't believe his luck! Excitement washed over him and he he paced around the room having to keep checking the email was meant for him. He had so many questions and wanted to know more but the email had specifically said not to ask any.

He couldn't risk it, and without any hesitation he replied to the email accepting the offer. Almost instantly, he got a reply.

Helena
Helena was so confused, scared and her mind could not make sense, but something in her took over and she found her hand taking the stranger's. The figure pulled her through the broken window and she could feel a shard of glass slice against her leg as they pulled her out. How she loved that pain. The figure then rushed to get her in the car.

Joel
Joel wanted to work on his low confidence, which - as he was studying theatre - was a big barrier and one he needed to fix or else risk failing the course and his dream. He knew he had it in him but he could never truly find his voice and people like Logan didn't help. He longed for the day when he could stand up to people like him and show them he was stronger than they were. Ha, maybe it was wishful thinking but he had to at least try.

Kendal
Reading the letter again and again, Kendal knew this was her duty. If the Lord had sent this sign to her, who was she to ignore His will?

Liam
Having a troubled youth and constantly in and out of trouble with the law, it was inevitable that Liam would end up paying for his crimes. Unfortunately for him, that came three days after he turned 18 and was suspected of armed burglary at his local bank.

Now he just had to find willing people. He knew all about desperation and where people went in times of need. Online is where he started his search, scouring forums after forums to find willing people. Some ignored him, others kind of showed little ineterest. But he waited and watched and one by one they fell into place. He stalked them online and found where they lived. Most were far from him so he had to use his persuasion online, which had proved easier than he expected. Maybe Carl was right, he could be a great leader.

Reuben
He knew he was smarter than his parents and two brothers, and being the youngest he was often picked on which just added to his frustrations.

The whole idea behind a SITD is to try and guess who the killer may be.

If a majority of people vote for a certain person then anything (Shaun confirmed a twist) could happen, but normally if we guess correctly the killer is out of the game and a new one is chosen.

@Luke It's up to Shaun. I think we got to see them last year once the game had concluded.
