Personally I found it quite dull. Australia is the most underrated season imo.

Underrated by online peeps or the general audience? I don't think it's really underrated by either, but maybe it is within TIBB and I haven't noticed.

As for Africa, Boran is definitely kinda lame but the season is absolutely worth it for Samburu <3333 oh my god Samburu is easily a top 5 tribe ever, every scene with them was a delight.

The immunity comp looked amazing and heroes tribe dominated it.. I still like them all especially the people ranked 1-9. I have no opinion on Danielle at all. and Randy was meh so it did not bother me he went.

S30 is honestly one of the worst, leave it til the end tbh. And all of Rob's seasons are awful except Season 4, which ironically is when Rob has the least airtime/is the least annoying/irritating.

I recommend Season 12 as a good, non-returnee season to ease you into the show. 16 is my all time favourite but has returnees. 1, 7, 12, 15, 16, 17, 28 and 29 are all must-sees tbh.

Yeah I started from the first season and it was better imo, especially since lots of people end up returning and it's better to see their multi-season journey in chronological order :shrug:

In Survivor the thing is if you would go from HvV to the first season, it is the total opposite. Much more camp life and more social relatonships, way less strategy and the alliance aspect only started to develop. The episodes have this quiet nostalgic slow-rolling type of vibe, and that's the opposite of Heroes vs Villains.

It's pretty much developing more and more every season up to the point when some of the last ten seasons have been way too repetitive.

A lot of new viewers rate the early seasons as boring if they didn't start from them, as most of the people who watched it from the start know that they were fricking amazing.

I watched in the most random order ever :joker: my friend was obsessed with Russell Hantz (:worry:) so I watched Heroes Vs Villains first (as it was airing) then Samoa, then Cook Islands for some reason, then China, then Gabon, it was so messy.

I hating HvV Colby and loving AO Colby is so soooooo backwards. Colby was kind of a huge jerkwad to Jerri (who was annoying af <3 but still), and then once she was voted out he had to redirect it all to someone so then poor Keith had to receive the brunt of Colby's anger for no reason at all :( I wasn't really down with Tina's Good People bull**** and using her sketchy morals to unite everyone under a common enemy. It's a really strong game tactic, especially after Borneo where people were probably trying to be less strategic, but still.

Africa is a huge delight because Samburu is AMAZING and easily a top 5 tribe. Boran sux tho. I'm sure you'll fall in love with young blonde Kelly Goldsmith and Survivor Sweetheart Kim Powers (alol the archetype of Survivor Sweetheart is sooooooooo bizarre. Remember when it was Penny?!?!?!)

Yas Stephenie redeem yourself from ep 1! She went out dragging James t'max alongside Tom/Colby who have improved, that tribal was intense! I don't like how they keep referring to Stephenie as bad luck as her tribe lost every challenge (in Palau) even though she won tribal immunities in Guatemala (which seems to be forgotten by all?). It feels like even to new viewers to the episode it seemed so obvious as to who was going. And James really is a thug and needs to GEAUX. The Heroes performance in the challenge was a full blown MESS and it's the second time in a row they've lost the lead. There wasn't much going on at the Villains outside of Rob's medical flu thing and building up Randy's exit as the Sugar of the tribe in the upcoming episode.

I decided to start my survivor rewatch I've been planning since the start of Cambodia! I decided to watch Marquesas since I haven't watched it in the longest time. The classic seasons are just so much better than the modern ones, the whole atmosphere is so different. This premiere was focused around camp life and it had genuinely entertaining moments, meanwhile most of modern premieres are focused around gameplay and idols. Sean might actually become my favorite survivor male ever. He's ICONIC :love: Kathy is iconic too, her being the tribe leader but annoying her tribemates </3 I don't dislike anyone really and I don't have a problem with Peter going.

I've finished Cook Islands.

A very mediocre season imo, it started terribly but got somewhat better during the merge. The outcome was pretty bad though, I was rooting against the Aitu 4 and didn't particularly like any of them except Sundra. Ozzy was okay sometimes, but was really irritating in other parts. Yul is just a sanctimonious know it all, and I can't stand those types of people. He might be my least favourite winner yet.

I've just finished watchiing Fiji and I was somewhat impressed with it. Don't get me wrong it's still a pretty average season (and there were plenty of horrors casting-wise), but due to its reptuation I was expecting much worse. Some episodes were really fun to watch, especially Edgardo's blindside. That could potentially be a top 20 episode tbqh. So yeah, a pleasant surpise. I liked Earl a lot more than I thought I would, I was very happy with him winning.

I've just finished watching China moments ago.

I enjoyed the season as a whole, but something was missing, and I can't put my finger on what it was exactly. I think the season lacked its stand-out moment/s. As much as liked most of the episodes, nothing really exciting or memorable happened in any of them. Maybe apart from Jaime playing what she thought was the immunity idol, but even that was anti-climatic.

It was good to finally watch players who have been hyped by people on forums and the general viewing audience, such as Amanda, Courtney, PG and Todd. At one point I felt that PG was seriously overrated, BUT she did shine occasionally (and omg there was a moment I forgot to mention, which was probably my favourite) like when she devised the plan to throw the immunity challenge to get rid of Aaron. That moment was brilliant, watching Jaime throw parts of the puzzle in such a non-chalant manner with a face like a naughty child was hilarious. PG's best episode was her last though :flutter:

I think Amanda, Courtney and Todd may be my favourite ftc combination of all seasons. Only to be rivaled by Richard and Kelly, and maybe Aras and Danielle. I tend to love an underdog, and all three of them pretty much epitomised the concept. Like, who would have thought when the show aired live that 'The Flight Attendant', 'The Waitress' and 'The Beauty Queen' would make it to the end (props to editing for using those terms in the opening sequence, I found them quite amusing. I also liked the way the opening sequence changed around the merge where the everyone in the game would be shown at the beginning and the jury members towards the end).

China is such a beautiful location, I really envy how they got to experience such great rewards which made rewards from other seasons look like total dog **** :joker:

Any way, time for ranking...I cant be bothered writing any more about it. And I realise that my write-up was total ****. I could talk more about it but I'm sleepy, and I always have trouble trying to articulate my thoughts in general.
