Look I'm sorry but this had to be done to save the Rewatch and the Rationale for _____ clique rigging her a thoroughly undeserved top 10 finish! I liked Susie ok! She was perfectly nice and treated horribly by a band of bratty little airheads! However somewhere along the line in her "bullied by plastic Grace" storyline there came the assumption that Susie was a breath of fresh air, a real raconteur and a flourishing presence in the house that got things moving and lifted the tone of conversation up from boys to bards. I don't really remember anything that fascinating about her, and whilst I could also say the same for my other beloved BBUK Hags (Belinda, Lisa, Carole, Jackie), none of them were nominated so :hee:

Susie just about makes the top 5 housemates of the series for me (but is far overshadowed by Aisleyne, Richard, Shahbaz and Nikki, let alone the more 2D terrible big characters) but I've been going through a decline in "favour for BB7" lately and thus Susie is the unfortunate casualty.

I completely forgot about this write-up, but yeah Roberto Roberto ROBERTO! /mary.

Roberto was a middle of the road housemate for me. In a cast as good as BB6, he doesn't really stand out all that much. He's not as good as Derek, Kemal or Craig and maybe even Science, but he's better than Maxwell, Eugene and Anthony. It's been over four years since I re-watched BB6, but honestly, his only memorable moment was dumping a bowl of noodles over Maxwell's head and I mean that was great and all, but not as great as Cidergate or an unhinged Craig lusting over a drunken Anthony or Makosi turning anyone insane just for the sake of it (<3).

I don't wanna hear from you Team Britney @Epic responding to this write-up with an essay on how Roberto was some misunderstood icon or something

Probably the biggest Big Brother housemate ever besides Jade Goody. However, it's a bit weird that he is considering Brian is well... a bit vanilla if I'm being honest. Don't get me wrong he does the whole funny, camp gay guy thing really well but that's just about his substance. He's a bitchy gay who the public fell in love with because he had a witty nature, charisma and a softer side hidden underneath this complex persona of being a 'bitch'. But, I really don't think he's all that? I get how he's a huge part of BB history and him being a gay man and still going on to win in 2001 must've been pretty surprising for both him and a lot of the viewing public but I just don't think he deserves to go higher than top fifty. A nice fella and an iconic housemate but just not the best!

Now she should really count her lucky stars that she's had Cal in this rankdown, because Charlie deserves to be 125th at best!

She was part of the weird BB17 launch night twist due to her ex-romance with Jason, and unfortunately it her her infuriating obsession which is what led to her downfall.

Following him around, having tantrums, coming back in a task only to shout abuse at him, crying etc; all great in the form of gifs, but she literally handed him the win. Charlie provided a great subplot and I think it worked better when she was in the "other" house but she ruined her chances the moment she couldn't let go.

Charlie was fine and definitely is not the worst to come from BB17, but enough is enough.

Shabnam is....... okay lol but she's maybe #148 for me, not #48. She was one of the more obvious first boots on a show that almost entirely casts first boots, and she didn't fail to deliver on being ~entertaining~! She was "messy," a word that has lost meaning on this forum, she got in random arguments and **** like bananas, and she was a huuuuuuuge fame***** who had good intentions but was desperate beyond belief. This led to her having an iconic eviction where she danced on top of the stairs like a huge buffoon singing A TO THE A TO THE B TO THE B and dancing and accurately stating "I don't know what I'm doing" :love:

Can you tell I don't have much to say about Shabnam? She was fun but like... she was a first boot and she wasn't particularly missed? The show didn't suffer from her loss so on a traffic light scale of like/dislike she'd register for me as like... a light green :shrug: Again, top 150 for me probably but definitely nowhere near top 50.

This is a painfully tragic cut for me. Because I actually really like Shell. But Jade, Lesley, Lydia and Sukhvinder all got saved so I had slim pickings in this terrible round. Instead I'll just praise Shell: she was a nice person with a hidden agenda of being externally all over the place (her having an emotional breakdown because nobody listened to her trying to calm down fight night<333). She had a hilarious late-game feud with fellow over-complex legend Victor Ebuwa because of the deep distrust they got near the end to each other. I enjoy the idea of her brand of housemate as being someone who means well but is so all over the place with themselves they can't get a hold of it and simultaneously relate to it. I just like Nadia, Nikki, and Michelle more though :shrug: (would've actually cut Nicky but I was 99% sure she would be cut for mediocrity so just went with the harder choice instead).

The OG 'BB bitch' Narinder probably deserves a higher placing but I wasn't left with much choice (thanks a ****ing lot Marc), so it was time to give the girl her marching orders out the game. From what I gather, Narinder was sort of the defining character of her series because she caused most of the drama and trouble,. She was also Brian Dowling's BFF but because Narinder was a WOC Brian was a guy, she kinda took most of the flack for being part of a bitching coven with him, and was evicted really early on while Brian went on to win. She released a juicy book (I think Cal might've read it idk) spilling all the gossip on behind the scenes of BB, which idk is kinda sexy? And she's still Brian's best friend so that's kinda sexy too?

Idk this woman and it's blatantly obvious. She also seems to get better and better looking with age.

OK so BB8 was my first series with TiBB so I guess it's fitting that I get to finish off the writeups with one of its housemates.

It's honestly a little bit surprising the icon status she's accumulated over the years because from what I remember posting about and watching on here... Nicky factored in very little at all. I know the "token grump" role is a little 2D to describe her every facet, but I can't picture her...happy? Sad? Just constantly pissed off. And whilst I'm sure that was entertaining in hindsight - at least considerably more so than the twins' playground games, Brian being unable to spell and Gerry having a daily meltdown - it just didn't captivate me at the time and so I feel she had to be kicked from the game before she earned a very undeserved top 10 placing.

A tragic cut but one I had to make all the same to save our Nikki (although Marc is an absolute bastard and cut her anyway now). Nadia is the most legendary BB winner of all time in pretty much everybody's view (Her legacy is greater than that of our Helly Woo Woo whom is my personal favourite Big Brother winner with Nadia just trailing behind) and her arc in the Big Brother house is rather beautiful. She entered the house and chose to keep her status as a transgender a secret from the rest of her housemates and for the most part I think none of them were suspicious or anything (I do recall some comments being made among the men but I don't recall the exact details of who said what and the severity of them etc). She formed an iconic friendship group with Emma, Michelle and Marco and together the foursome were the 'Lip Gloss Bitches' whom are like the greatest BB friendship ever. They were kind of the entertainers of the house because the other housemates liked to sit around and talk about the game (their rival group, 'The Jungle Cats') or were just generally normal people (Vanessa, Dan and Shell for example) and this ended up making things in the house rather hostile and of course resulted in Fight Night after Emma & Michelle returned from being fake evicted yada yada yada we all know this.

But what makes Nadia such a great housemate to me is the way she carries herself. She manages to make melting down on trashy reality television look glamorous. What other woman could sob in the diary room about not having cigarettes or scream and square up to other men and still look like such a lady? She had some generally heart warming moments (and these are a credit to her other housemates also) like when some arsehole decided to shout over the wall that she was a man whilst she was sat outside with Dan and he pretended not to hear them and when Bekki entered and promised her that she would not tell the rest of the house even though she knew that Nadia was a transgender which was absolutely lovely. I'm also OBSESSED with the moment they all did a talent show (I think it was early on actually as quite a lot of them were still in the house) and she came out in THAT black dress and imitated Marilyn Monroe singing Happy Birthday <3 And the fact she wore that black dress underneath a white dressing gown every week until she got evicted which wasn't actually her eviction but actually her winner's moment which just leads me onto what is probably one of most people on this website's favourite moments which is when Nadia leaves the house after winning and just takes in all the acceptance and love from the crowd and even now watching it on YouTube you can literally feel the energy of it all and it's just so lovely to see her feel accepted and loved for who she is :love: Marco and Emma sobbing and holding each other as she left the house :love: Her shaking her little arms not knowing what to do with herself screaming thank you to the crowd who are screaming in adoration :love: Absolutely lovely. Warms the cockles!

Post show she enjoyed a sexy media career, appeared in a Kit Kat advert with Anthony and Craig and managed to live in the BB Australia house in the final week I recall. She also returned for UBB but honestly, the less said about that the better because it's just horrible. :( A legendary BBUK housemate and an amazing winner!

I'm just the bloody Big Brother 5 ripper these days aren't I? Don't get me wrong I really liked Stu and his showmance with our Michelle Bass but I didn't want to cut everybody else still in and I heard Melanie is an iconic housemate so didn't really want to cut her and have nothing to say about her because I haven't seen her series but whatever. Stu was in an interesting position in the BB5 house because he actually belonged to ALL three groups of housemates in that series. He was an ally of the Lip Gloss Bitches due to his relationship with Michelle, he was friends with all the Jungle Cats and was really close to them but then he himself belonged to the group in the middle of the house that didn't really have a group assigned to themselves along with Dan, Vanessa, Shell and Bekki along the series. He played Switzerland a lot and never took sides but his relationship with Michelle was just amazing to watch because of how much of a bunny boiler Michelle was (and obviously he gained infamy as Chicken Stu because she repeatedly used the term of endearment chicken to address him). I remember when he was getting close to Shell and every time Michelle would catch them together she'd make the same tired joke she'd made countless times about how Shell was stealing her man and it was really awkward because she made the joke SO many times and it really wasn't a joke because she was actually REALLY bothered about it but didn't want to make out she was bothered <3 :love: He and Michelle are also part of the iconic episode where Michelle made them a little fort underneath the dinner table and they had sex and it was all really lovely because Davina fawned over it all. Anyway, Stu was a really nice guy and he got evicted out of the diary room a few days before the final with the least votes to win and it was a really evil twist to fit with the evil BB that year. So long, Chicken Stu!

Don't be so bloody stupid! Mario isn't a top 40 housemate and should've been out 100 or so places ago. I will admit Mario did have some genuinely hilarious moments, like getting everyone's names wrong on launch night while people were introducing themselves. I think he even referred to Rachel as 'Sheila' at one point? :joker: And his health and safety **** was funny too, but that's about it. He was a major **** towards Steph in the first week and called her a hemorrhoid in the strangest insult ever. And he held Lisa back quite a bit too, so I'm glad he went when he did as she flourished without him. I don't really have much else to say, he was an average housemate at best really, but nowhere near top 40 worthy and Shaun won't convince me otherwise!

I completely forgot about this write-up, but yeah Roberto Roberto ROBERTO! /mary.

Roberto was a middle of the road housemate for me. In a cast as good as BB6, he doesn't really stand out all that much. He's not as good as Derek, Kemal or Craig and maybe even Science, but he's better than Maxwell, Eugene and Anthony. It's been over four years since I re-watched BB6, but honestly, his only memorable moment was dumping a bowl of noodles over Maxwell's head and I mean that was great and all, but not as great as Cidergate or an unhinged Craig lusting over a drunken Anthony or Makosi turning anyone insane just for the sake of it (<3).

I don't wanna hear from you Team Britney @Epic responding to this write-up with an essay on how Roberto was some misunderstood icon or something

So I actually kinda like Marcus but unlike some *COUGH*Babayaro*COUGH*, I realise that he should be out of this rankdown!

I enjoyed (some of) his bartering with Big Brother. I liked his on-off (but mostly off) relationship with Lisa. I also liked how he didn't pander to Sree (even though Marcus himself did go too far at times) but what I didn't like was how he became exactly the same thing he demonised Sree for; being one of Noirin's lost puppies..

Now, I've rewatched BB10 this year, and Noirin said "no". Countless times. She said that nothing was going to happen romantically. Ever. Yet Marcus didn't listen; "I know she's said that nothing is gonna happen but there's a 0.1% chance that something will, so I'm going to continue this persuit". So here came Marcus's downfall, which was the sulking. Once he found out Siavash and Noirin had kissed, he moaned and sulked and sat by the pool refusing to talk to anybody. When John McKririck did it in CBB3, it was humorous and new. With Marcus it just seemed forced and boring. Stomping around for no real reason other than 2 adults sharing a kiss? Grow up.

But other than that I actually liked Marcus and he could actually be quite funny -

I saved Aaron because he was easily the best housemate from BB12. Not that that is saying anything but we should thank him for saving what was a pretty naff series.

Now, I quite liked Nikki, but I do think she is pretty overrated. I'll just talk about her BB7 appearance in this write-up as in UBB she was alright, I guess, and her stint in BB16 was a bit boring. Oh and I didn't watch BBCAN but this is the BBUK rankdown so me caring! I appreciate her legacy and how well she has done for herself outwith the show BUT a lot of people overlook the bad points because she could be a right nasty bitch when she wanted to. Her treatment towards Shahbaz springs to mind and I recall her making some transphobic comment towards Sam??? Idk if I'm making that up or not. Also, I must be in the minority that didn't really find her constant meltdowns that funny too. Like, yeah, it was a talking point and is one of the reasons why BB7 is remembered. But to me, it was far too childish and embarrassing to enjoy. I did feel sorry for her when she re-entered the house as she obviously saw what the public loved about her, but tried way too hard to replicate it, and ended up being hated and leaving the final in fifth place to boos lmao welp.

I actually really liked Belinda. But because of these trash final noms I'm afraid I had little option so here's a praise for her instead. I really enjoy housemates who mean to be so nice to people but are instead way too OTT to do it in a socially acceptable manner. The housemates were horrified by how she was acting, several feeling she had some sort of secret agenda to the happy manner she was exhibiting. This was her whole first week summed up and it made her a quick highlight of her series. But then she started to settle in in her second and final week and that kind of soured my enjoyment of her a bit, not to mention her being a really late entrant who only ends up being there for two weeks, so I feel around this placement is suitable for a pretty great housemate like her.

This all would have been SO much easier if ****ing Aaron didn't get nominated and saved because you're damn right I would've cut his stupid ass. But here we are, I'm left with a write up for Lesley, someone who I actually love, but probably the least out of my figurative children left in the rankdown, and probably more like #52 instead of #32.

Lesley only lasted like 11 days so I feel like her time in the house is pretty well-documented but let's see... one of my internet friends called her the white female version of Derek Laud and that's pretty spot on? She had a sharp tongue and was sarcastic and acerbic beyond belief, and yeah it was mean sometimes but the comedy outweighed it like 100% of the time so who cares. She got in arguments with practically everyone in the house because she wouldn't hesitate to just hijack fights she wasn't involved in and tell people to SHUT THEIR MOUTHS just because she didn't like them :love: like I said, she did this with everyone but her main target was EMILY for whatever reason #PiggyAtTheTable :love: I actually found a list of Lesley-isms so here are some of my favorites:

-"Those who shout the loudest will complain when we don't get much food"

-*upon Emily's ejection while reading the laminate*" "and by the way this must be ready with no interruptions at all, this is a serious business for once, let's all listen!!!"

Again, all of those were delivered in a week. Sadly, Lesley walked early into the second week because Seany was a twat and pulled her duvet cover from her and #exposed her or something, and even when Seany apologized Lesley REFUSED to accept it because he's awful :love::love::love: so instead of accepting his apology she bequeathed her bed to Carole, and then I think it came to light after the show that Lesley just faked her whole personality just as an acting challenge or whatever, and I think that just makes me like her more? But ultimately I eliminated Lesley because I usually connect more with ~complex~ personalities rather than over the top ones, so sorry girl but your journey in the rankdown is sadly coming to an end x

Mary is fine. One of the better first boots. Bit odd and eccentric but again. Lasted way too long in this game. Fair enough she rightfully saw Saskia as a huge **** and went flying on a broom but those aren't top 20 qualities in the slightest and for that she had to go. Especially when the round had top quality housemates all over the board as well. Could you imagine if Craig had gone first over her? Barely worth thinking about and I doubt she could have managed a story arc as strong as that one x

My final write up which has taken... a while. He was a decent housemate, one of the gays I actually liked (idk a lot of the homos BB cast are either up their own arse elitist types see: Raph or a caricature annoying 'LOOK AT ME I'M GAY AND THAT'S MY ONLY PERSONALITY TRAIT' one not gays see: Ryan Ruckledge) but he really wasn't all that. Mark kind of sat in the middle of the BB15 house divide, even though he spent a hell of a lot of time with The Woo Woo he wasn't scared to criticise her of her wrongdoings and put her in her place. Which was quite refreshing to see because he did it in a way without being hypocritical or coming across like a bitch. His main defining storyline though was his relationship with third placer Christopher, their relationship was MESSY. Mark went from screaming he was a bore in week one to them cuddling in bed, they'd argue like cat and dog (let's not forget the infamous 'oh that old chestnut!' argument which is actually really underrated) and it was a slightly amusing B storyline to watch. However, he wasn't exactly memorable and he really doesn't deserve to be so high compared to some of the all time greats we've lost before him. So long farewell Mark, or as they say in the lovely Liverpool 'Ta-Ra!'

- one of my favorites of BB16 but that's not saying much. she had a great demeanor about a polyamorous lifestyle or how she coped with pressure by doing a patronizing voice to other housemates. but the imbalanced editing made her pushed to the sidelines in her later days and her eviction is mortifyingly bad, although then again nearly all from that series is.
