AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker is reportedly being planned for WrestleMania 36, according to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com. WrestleZone first reported the news on Thursday.

As noted, Styles has been out of action with a separated shoulder, but the hope among WWE officials and Styles is that he will be good to go for The Grandest Stage of Them All. Styles is currently scheduled to return to the ring at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia on February 27, competing in a Gauntlet Match for the Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy with WWE United States Champion Andrade, Erick Rowan, R-Truth, Rusev, and Bobby Lashley.

The fate of this year’s WWE WrestleMania 36 show may be decided in a couple of days. Ryan Bass from the Tampa CBS affiliate is reporting that city officials will meet on Thursday to discuss canceling or postponing major events due to the coronavirus outbreak. This is obviously a major concern for WWE as they are expecting fans from several states and countries to fly in for WrestleMania in just a few weeks. If Mania is canceled or postponed then this would have a major effect on all of the other events going on. This may affect the WWE Hall Of Fame, Friday Night SmackDown, NXT TakeOver, Monday Night Raw and all of the independent shows and meet and greets taking place during that weekend. The big question is if WrestleMania gets postponed, what will WWE do as a make-up show since they have never had to face a situation like this. It’s clear that WWE was never going to cancel or postpone the show unless they were forced to by city or state officials and now that seems like a real possibility.

I honestly think they should just have a 4/6 week break, shutdown of live events until it's "safer" and until they can sort out an official rescheduling of 'Mania. The Network is there to keep people entertained/busy in the meantime, they could do a sort of "Road to WrestleMania" series or something along those lines to keep the hype up until a new date is made official.

Asuka has apparently taped her respective match already, like early last week according to reports.

It's just Miz/Reigns like you say that are up in the air - all depends how early taping Mania began like. Cesaro was another who would possibly miss out (even though he's just going to be managing Zayn) but was able to tape too according to reports.

- Despite reports otherwise, Asuka and Cesaro both worked WrestleMania with no health issues.
- Edge vs. Randy Orton was successfully taped this week.
- Meltzer confirmed PWInsider's report earlier Friday that Buddy Murphy was indeed sick and didn't come to the TV tapings this week. Meltzer added that no one sick was allowed around, even if they had a cough or a stuffy nose.

Meltzer also stated that it would end up that Morrison would end up facing on of The Uso's in a Ladder Match but we'll see. :shrug:
