Tegan Nox explains why it was the right time to come out publicly and says WWE’s Sonya Deville helped her find the courage to do so.

Nox recently spoke with Newsweek and commented on her Instagram post last week where she came out publicly as a lesbian. She explained how her life was very private before that but she felt it was finally the right time to share more with her fans.

“My life has always been a “don’t ask, don’t tell” situation, but I felt like it was the right time, especially when you’ve found the right one you’re in love with. It was the right time to do that.

The reaction has been great. There are a few people who obviously don’t agree with that, but 99 percent of the reactions have been positive. I’ve got texts coming through from so many colleagues and friends. It was nice. It’s great to see that there are so many nice people in the world.”

Nox says she had some help from Sonya Deville, who also came out publicly a few years ago. Nox explained that Sonya told her to stay in contact and gave her advice on how to deal with certain situations, including bringing her personal life into the public eye.

Details have emerged regarding Sonya Deville's traumatising incident with stalker/potential attacker at her home last week.

Seriously this is terrifying, like a horror movie.

Sonya Deville, real name Daria Berenato, is thankfully safe after a man who stalked her leading to a kidnapping attempt as he entered the WWE Superstar’s home. This was first reported just a few days ago after the news broke originally only later to be discovered that it was the home of Berenato in Lutz, Fla.

Further details of the event have emerged after speaking with Deville. The guest in question that was with her is fellow WWE Superstar Mandy Rose (real name, Amanda Saccomanno). It appears that the man who is currently in custody, Phillip A. Thomas II, may have also been there to harm Saccomanno as well.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Berenato says she actually came face to face with the man.

“What are doing, what do you want?” she yelled as he appeared just feet away as he started to walk towards her.

“That is when I realized this person was not here to rob me, he was there to hurt me,” Berenato wrote in a court petition seeking protection from the 24-year old male on her lanai. According to the records, he was holding a knife and pepper spray.

Berenato says she went to bed around 1:15 am, and Saccomanno slept in a separate room. The security alarm went off around 2:41 am and showed a family room door had been opened when she went to go and disarm the alarm at the keypad by the garage. After this is when she saw Thomas on the lanai and the aforementioned events took place. She then would run and get Saccomanno alerting her that they had to get out of there.

Once they fled and called the authorities, Berenato watched a video from her security system. She saw that Thomas had followed her, “but he thought I ran up the stairs, leaving me and my friend just enough time to escape.”

After Berenato realized who the man was from the police investigation she checked his social media accounts. He had a private account separate from his public page. She recalls messages that she found that he had sent her. The last message that was received said, “Look outside, baby, by your pool. I’m here. I’m gonna kill that little b—- you have inside with you.”

“The nature of the messages from this account were obsessive, suicidal, idolizing, saying, ‘You are the only person I will ever love,’ ” Berenato wrote.

Other messages included the threat of decapitating Berenato’s friends/family and had detailed sexual acts including a photo of a penis.

“The defendant admitted that his intention was to take Mrs. Berenato hostage by spraying her (with) pepper spray, binding her hands with the zip ties, and wrapping duct tape around her arms to prevent from fighting back,” the prosecution motion says. “He stated that he intended to keep Mrs. Bernato hostage, preventing her from attending a planned event schedule for the following week and that he was not going to leave her residence without her answering all of his questions.”

The event mentioned is most likely the upcoming Hair vs. Hair match between both Deville and Rose at SummerSlam on Aug. 23 in Orlando, Fla.

Thomas remains in custody on felony charges of armed kidnapping, aggravated stalking, armed burglary of a dwelling, and a misdemeanor of criminal mischief. A hearing on the prosecution motion to prevent bail for Thomas on Thursday.

Berenato’s submitted a handwritten request for a temporary injunction against stalking violence and it was granted.

I liked that the card didn't feel so heavy. I feel everyone performed well and it wasn't as exhausting as your usual PPV.

Mandy and Sonya were exceptional given the circumstances. There were a few mistakes but I imagine this was thrown together last minute so it's understandable. Both Asuka matches were great and I actually prefer Bayley keeping her title if it means both her and Sasha stay on SmackDown and Asuka feuds with other people on Raw.

Wrestling Inc. has provided an update on the story involving WWE talent and their third-party accounts on Twitch and other social media sites. The initial edict laid out in September told talent that they could no longer engage with third parties services online. Public backlash seemingly forced the company’s hand, and they declared that talent could keep their accounts as long as they used their real names instead of stage names and informed WWE about them.

In a new message released to talent today, WWE has informed its independent contractors that the company would be taking control of their Twitch accounts in four weeks’ time. WWE will own the accounts, and talent will receive an unspecified percentage of the revenue. This money will also count against their downside guarantees.

The black-and-gold brand will have an all new look tonight with the debut of the Capitol Wrestling Center.

As first reported by “Sports Illustrated,” NXT TakeOver 31 will emanate from the completely re-designed WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla. The Capitol Wrestling Center name is a tribute to the Capitol Wrestling Corporation that was founded by Jess McMahon in 1953 and run by Vincent J. McMahon, serving as the precursor to WWE.

“It’s a historic callback to where this all began,” Triple H told Justin Barrasso of “Sports Illustrated.” “We gutted the Performance Center and it’s now rebuilt, so it feels like we’re going back to the beginning. To me, it feels like we’re going back to 1953. Just like then, we’re doing something different and new, taking the business to a whole new level.”

Similar to Raw and SmackDown’s home at the WWE ThunderDome, the Capitol Wrestling Center will have video walls surrounding the ring with virtual fans but will keep the distinct feel of the black-and-gold brand.

“The Capitol Wrestling Center captures the feel and the vibe of NXT. We will have all the bells and whistles of the ThunderDome, but we’ll keep that NXT feel. It’s edgier, darker and raw—you’re walking into the ultimate heavy metal soundstage,” said Triple H.

As reported by FOX Sports, the rules and Superstar pools have now been finalized for the 2020 WWE Draft.

- Over 60 Male Superstars, Female Superstars and Tag Teams have been placed into the 2020 WWE Draft.
- More than 20 Superstars are eligible to be drafted on Friday night and more than 30 Superstars are eligible to be drafted on Monday night.
- Due to the length of each show, for every two picks that SmackDown selects, Raw will get three picks.
- Tag Teams will count as one pick unless FOX or USA Network, in conjunction with WWE Officials, wants to pick one Superstar from the team.
- Any undrafted Superstars will immediately be declared free agents and able to sign with the brand of their choosing.
