Everton for the title next season. You heard it here first.
This is why we're gonna win it. We're back.
The best football video you'll see this year and this is why Everton is the greatest club the World has ever seen. There's no football ground in the World to match Goodison on nights like this.

I wonder about Liverpool losing Mane when all the others will be improving dramatically .
Chelsea getting Gallagher back plus spending £200 million , Spurs spending £150 million..
I’d put ManU higher .. also Villa will be very good this season
Fabulous manager.. spending a fortune ... getting FDJ off Barcelona and getting Donny van de Beek back off Everton plus others new players - also going back to training two weeks earlier than the other teams ..

no
and as if you guys can understand Ten Hag, with his twents english accent :laugh3:
one good thing from this, at least this arrogant loser is gone from our league, and ajax having quite a likeable coach now in Schreuder which surprises me, hopefully King Alfred can get rid of all the arrogance in amsterdam and tone down on the too high ambitions, because as if a dutch team will ever win a european cup
but United will regret signing Ten Hag very soon, how much of a disease he is for a club

That's 3 Dutch clubs that have won the European Cup. That's the same as Italian clubs and one more than Spanish clubs

How can a team who took the quadruple all the way to last minute this season and got 90+ pints for the 3rd time in 4 years have peaked ?

We already signed Manes replacement in Diaz, we will just go out and get another attacker, the plan was always to faze out the attackers 1 by one as they hit the 30s

Gareth's time at england is up, but i can still see him being good enough for plenty teams in championship, and maybe even a few teams in premier league, somehow i'd like to see him at Newcastle with the new Saudi's project en route to european cup football

Why on earth would Newcastle be interested ?
Their fans thrive on attractive, attack minded football . .. they won’t want to watch his turgid stuff week after week
Plus he managed arch enemy Middlesbrough
I don’t see anyone taking him on at all ..

This.
Don't forget this England isn't that great, the Media as usual has overrated our team.
Plus compared to what we've had as Managers recently, I'd gladly have Southgate be the latest victim to try and pull off a miracle and get us to finish in the top 19 of the Championship.

This team honestly isn't that good.
Pickford, Kane & Sterling have shown that they're good enough for England, but the other players are decent at best, and Peter Enckelman at worst if we go by Ramsdale's performance against Hungary.
I mean Southgate shouldn't have to tell a goalkeeper how to stop the ball from going in the back of the net.

have ENORMOUS expectations for Haaland this season, i expect him to score more than 40 goals
considering he's the biggest football superstar on the planet currently
and Dortmund signed africana flop Haller to replace him :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3: i can see Dortmund more fighting against relegation then
Oddly enough we agree on something
:)
I think that Haaland will also get 40
goals minimum this coming season ( all competitions )
He’s an absolutely amazing talent ... I’m reluctant to label him as a genius as I feel that term is far too easily thrown about.
Probably only Messi is the only pure genius currently
Haaland will terrorise the defences - check this example out -18 seconds

Newcastle - Nottingham Forest (can Nottingham do similar as Brentford last season and Leeds the year before in first matchround and cause for a little upset in first matchround)
West Ham - Man City (looking forward to seeing Scamacca, our psv flop in action, and Haaland of course, am a fan of his goalscoring talent so i hope he immediately begins to score a few goals to silence his critics after community shield match last week)
Everton - Chelsea (Lampard vs his old team, and Chelsea under a new ownership, new players, what can we expect from them now)

Yes !!
It could easily be the best ever season !!
City and Liverpool SHOULD be front runners but they both have a new CF and both teams will have to adapt their play somewhat
I can see Arsenal doing extremely well after their new acquisitions .
Spurs and Chelsea could be dark horses as could ManUnited .. depending on their signings
So many teams with loads of great new players ... so many of the players will be busting a gut to prove themselves AND also earn a place in their own WorldCup squad ..

I’m not a fan of this new leniency in reffing .
They’ve been told to let petty fouls go unpunished..
Just then there was a sequence of five fouls . .. each team taking it in turn to dive into the tackle as the previous one went unpunished.. this will just end in some injuries

It isn't gonna last for either team, but we both may as well enjoy it while it lasts.:joker:

Good luck to them if you're right.
But being brutally honest the big three this season is gonna be Man City, Liverpool & Tottenham imo.
Good opening win for Arsenal but there's a massive elephant in the room here in centre mid...

and its only start of competition now
big 3 this season will be Man City, Liverpool and i'm going to give a honorable mention to Newcastle (i'd say they have a worldclass defender in Botman, even his former teammate and now ours at fortuna, Burak Yilmaz speaks high praise of him, wanting Sven to be in dutch national team as soon as possible, whom can compete with top defender Virgil van Dijk according to him)

Leeds won the league in 92 and the next season they were fighting relegation.

I'm supporting Everton and Brentford are my second team this season.
They've just signed a lad who's family I know. I used to live next door to his grandparents. His dad is a few years older than me but we grew up next door to each other and later played for the same Sunday league team and have many mutual friends.

Yes it lasted all of 5 minutes, I think people hear medical emergency and immediately think something serious when it could be some one fainting, having a coughing fit or a panic attack, because now all grounds have defibrillators they have to stop the game and utilise the trained staff...this is new ...which is why it appears there are more than than pre covid ...obviously this was not serious ...as the game was paused for 5 minutes ....twitter needs to get a grip...rather than running around like a headless chicken each time there is a ‘medical’ emergency
I did say the same last season that Calvert-Lewin is our key man. Our play revolves around him. He's your classic number 9 that holds the play up and brings your team into play. I said you have to either have a replacement for him or adapt to play with a different style. Not sure Frank with all his football experience has figured this out yet.
Very disappointing result getting beat at home by a bunch of Southerners.
I'm more embarrassed by our result than Slim is with his teams result. Don't let Slim's absence fool you. He's delighted with a point down South.

A medical emergency :hehe:There's a great video on YouTube with Brian Clough when he's talking about the injury that ended his playing career. They were going to take his boots off and the manager said "No don't take his boots off, he might need to go back on" Clough was taken to hospital, but that's just how it was in those days, if you were injured then tough luck, you just played on. Such drama Queens these days.

Without the options of names I would have got a few more wrong. 1 was a total guess and 2 or 3 were educated guesses. On some others the names helped me recognise them. Apart from that it was quite an easy quiz.
I wouldn't be able to do half as well with players from the last decade as I no longer take much interest in it. Before then though I am a total football Stato.

Sane hasn’t had the smoothest of times since returning to Germany in 2020 to join Bayern Munich. And the arrival this summer of Sadio Mane from Liverpool has raised questions about how much playing time he will get this season.

We are bottom the league, say we are bottom the league
de Gea usually helps save the embarrassment, and he is having a mare
That through ball by Toney was world class.
i didnt think it was possible, but they are worse this season than last

Brentford v Manchester United 2-0 19'
10' 1-0 Dasilva (Jensen)
18' 2-0 Jensen
Brentford v Manchester United 4-0 HT
30' 3-0 Mee (Toney)
35' 4-0 Mbeumo (Toney)
I'm not exaggerating when I say that was genuinely the most embarrassing 45 minutes I've ever seen from a team, United genuinely look like they'd be played off the park by any team in this league. Fourth goal was very nice from Toney and Mbuemo but the others were all gifts
Ole should be feeling pretty smug right now
the whole club is a mess, everything they do is a mess

Dude nearly died on the pitch, zeez. Think he's earned the right to play for whoever he wants.
Watching in a pub and everyone is just pissing themselves at how bad United are :joker:

i'm a united supporter and i'm laughing, it is just astonishingly bad. The players just don't give a toss
That 4th goal was incredible

Yeah even the couple of United fans here have to laugh lol
Would love to be a fly on the wall of that changing room

ten Hag will be saying, come on lads, lets have more of the same
Man Utd might be bad, but Brentford are on it. So many players need to leave Utd. Trust me, it will do Utd a favour.
Uniteds last 3 managers always look too calm when they're being annihilated, they need a Simeone type character who will absolutely blow their top at a performance like that

they need some Fergie boot throwing
Carragher can give it, but he can't take it. That's quite funny, but Carra is still a dick.
Probably safe to say FDJ wont be joining Utd now :joker:
Ronaldo will take a salary cut to 50 pence to move away
[emoji599]| JUST IN: FC Barcelona are confident of completing the signing of Bernardo Silva next week. The club believes it'll be completed for €65M & everything is ready. @sport

Crikey Man Utd will be relegation candidates if they carry on like this.
they should be playing the kids from the academy and dump this lot
Soon you'll have to stop referring to them as United and start calling them by their proper name. Newcastle will take over the title of United.

Hopefully Sky have Roy Keane and Souness in the studio now after this beating for United

How strange that Sky did not go to the pundits after the game !!!
Maybe they were too scared to be honest ?!
Ten minutes of footage showing the Brentford fans celebrating
How odd

all this talk about who Man Utd should sign, they've 3 players at the club that should be starting every game, Mary Earps, Laura Toone and Alessia Russo.
I really couldn't care about them. I don't get the big drama that they got beat.
Everton have lost twice too, give us some attention.

Brentford played well, so fair play to them.
However no professional Football team should be 4-0 down in 35 minutes, that to me is a disgrace to the team and it's fans imo.

i'm not the type of person who likes to brag, oh wait that's a lie
i do like to brag
i told you so, can continue to call me a troll but i was right and you were wrong
being successful at ajax means absolutely nothing, a coach is as good as the team who play under him, and Martinez :laugh2: well thank you for overspending 60 million on a piece of garbage
relegation candidate no.1 definitely, unless they sack ten hag now and replace him with someone more qualified, which basically is anyone not basic
its not 4 previous managers that is the problem, it is the owners and their recruitment strategy
