Southgate is a 53 year old man, he should be thinking of what's best for the team, not who he likes or doesn't like.

Palmer was seriously challenging Haaland for the Golden Boot at one point, that in itself should see him in the starting 11, and if Southgate can't see that then even I will have to criticize him, because we're blowing our brains out not playing Palmer and Watkins.

They haven't talked to Tuchel since the summer and discussions broke down. I do think he would be an upgrade on TH, but i really don't see it happening

United managers aren't really sacked for poor performances against the bigger teams. They have a fairly easy run after the break, if he doesn't pick up points then, he will be sacked

Tuchel gets results ( usually) but is well known for going in and falling out with loads of people .. . and never stays that long because of it
