None of them are qualified to comment on football at this level as they all played at a level well below Division 2 … and that was ten or more years ago !

Look how bad it is now so imagine 15 years ago when they weren’t even professional

One of these women pundits only played about 135 matches over 14 years which worked out at less than 10 games per season- at a pizz -poor level as well !!

How are they qualified to critique or criticise these elite players

the dutch cup is also rigged, the bigger teams don't have to play rounds 1 and 2, to prevent any shock exits from happening

I do agree with you on Lucy Ward prattling on a lot, it can annoy me to varying levels depending on my mood at the time.

And tbf, a lot of the pundits that we see on Sky Sports etc were rarely ever elite players (exceptions being Neville, Ian Wright, and Henry) so it's not just the women critiquing players that are much better than when the pundits were players.

I would agree with most of what you say but it’s worrying that a top level referee is capable of missing those two fouls .

Both were whacked hard and never got the ball … Amad Diallo looked a bad injury initially.

But hell even if you get the ball first you are now not allowed to also take the man . The rule is there to protect players from serious injury .

Just watch until Amad Diallo gets bushwhacked on the touch line .. felt like about 10 minutes in to the game



As an afterthought Grimsby played some lovely, intricate football throughout the match !

Crazy that a Division 2 team plays football that would grace the Premier League whilst Newcastle UFC play a game more fitting to non league or Sunday morning ‘kick’ abouts !

But I don't really take the women losing to teenage boys that seriously, because the biological advantage for the boys will have started to kick in.

I think my point would be that Jeff and currently Plank have either hosted/are currently hosting Gillette Soccer Saturday despite never playing Football at any professional or semi-professional level. And they have given their opinions on the players and the teams in general, so why can't someone that has played 135 times in women's Football?

The overweight guys can use that weight as a strength in Football, we've definitely seen over the years at Championship level, so I'm not too surprised that these overweight men were able to still beat the women in a Football match.

Chelsea have been charged by the Football Association with 74 alleged rule breaches related to payments to agents between 2009 and 2022.

and then i can watch Real Madrid vs Marseille, with our defensive beast Huijsen, and thanks to his La Liga suspension for 2 games, he doesn't look at saving energy for upcoming weekend


people say Mbappe, Vini Jr as big stars, but honestly Huijsen is impressing me a lot more so far, he definitely made their defence much stronger, and i can see them as CL contenders maybe


also Xabi Alonso as coach, at training is just a joy to watch :D his whole hands on approach, compared to Ancelotti, yet also not too strict, enough room to create friendships among the squad, which also important for team morale, and playing as a team, if you get along well with each other



and honestly i myself do not hate on Huijsen unlike some other dutch people, i understand his reasons for choosing Spain over Oranje, and honestly, his family was kinda disliked here, hence why they moved to Marbella, because his father has ties with people in the criminal underworld here, although more like from a business point of view, not really into criminal activities, Donny Huijsen is nowadays a businessman, and he is also his son's agent btw

Well I am a football purist and love to see exciting, skilful play .. something only a few teams are capable of Arsenal being one.

They are still getting used to their new players as someone just mentioned .

That top Spanish team was smashed home and away earlier this year by ManU incidentally plus their only world class player was injured on their bench

Oh and their finishing was woeful plus Arsenal made some excellent, last ditch blocks and clearances so on a different night they could have conceded a few ..
