I've seen it from every angle. The ball must have been about 6ft 9 when his foot hit it.

Get In Curacao!!!!!!!!!! without head coach Dick Advocaat though, he had to travel back to Netherlands due to family circumstances
but he was apping his assistants Dean Gorré and Cor Pot with the preferred style of play vs Jamaica
Wow ..
A decent Brazil squad with a fabulous manager Carlo Ancelotti !!!
What a potentially potent mix !

At least its not gone to yet another broadcaster requiring yet another monthly subscription - we already have TNT
Apparently Paramount are in talks to take over TNT's parent company, so that's probably why the bidding went the way it did
Apparently Manu star Matheus Cunha is to switch on the Christmas lights in Altrincham

Maybe they should have these two hosting Strictly Come Dancing for a couple of years to get a feel of what it’s like for us guys having to put up an increasing number of women pundits and commentators ruining our beautiful game !!
Whilst their own women’s games use just women with an occasional appearance from Ian Wright who’s niece is a player

Hopefully Delap gets into a good vein of form and leapfrogs Villa’s Watkins in the England squad
Kane starts with Toney and Delap off the bench
ManC are gonna get brutalised by Newcastle UFC over the next 90 minutes or so
Why start Foden against this team ffs
10 mins in and Joelinton has already managed to stamp on Foden and Diaz ( twice) in ‘tackles’ …. All these fouls go unnoticed or even unpunished despite causing pain and discomfort
Diaz is still limping…
If an offside is so close it takes VAR 6 minutes to decide on an offside - then give goal straight away
It used go in favour of the attacking team !!
Newcastle’s cynical midfield three are all expert divers as well
After the game there was a lot of arguing
Pep and the city players were complaining about a persistent , unpunished fouling by Joelinton throughout the match
Joelinton wanted to fight everyone and it took a player plus 3,members of the backup staff to control him !
I hate days like today when two of my three favourite English teams face each other
I want Arsenal to finally win the league after so long .. so I will be hoping for an Arsenal win in a fabulously entertaining game with both teams playing well
A massive London derby plus both Sheffield teams playing and also both Milan teams meet tonight as well
Arsenal v Spurs
Two strong teams with strong benches
Supposedly the best home team against the best away team ??

Even if he makes the squad i don't see him featuring that much for England.
Interesting facts for tonight's game between Barca and Chelsea.
Both won their last 3 league games
Both 2nd in their domestic tables
Both have the same records in their 4 CL games so far (2W1L1D)
Both on 7 points in the CL table, Barca ahead of Chelsea on GD (+5/+3)
Live on Amazon Prime tonight. I wouldn't wanna predict this one at all.

Crazy to think that Lamine Yamal was only 18 a few months ago and yet he’s been arguably Spain’s main player for over two YEARS !!
Ohhh
Not liking this at all !!
Caceido and Otemendi both lost their individual appeals and will miss the first two games at next summer’s World Cup
However they have agreed to suspend fakeRonaldo’s ban for 12 months so he CAN play as normal .
This sounds so sus !
Chelsea v Barcelona
Two fairly strong lineups though Barca without three important players - midfield duo Pedri and Gavi plus keeper ter Stegan
Chelsea have two game changers on the bench Delap and Pedro
Barcelona have Olmo , Rashford , Casado and Raphinha
Sadly we lack creativity and a weak midfield without Pedri so I am thinking 3:1 to Chelsea

Facts are facts
Cucurella hacked , blocked and pulled back ( right in front of the ref ) all evening and didn’t get a yellow. …
Our CB says one word out of place and got booked which obviously played a part in his sending off and our subsequent demise
The main thing is Yamal escaped serious injury so that’s nice
Martinez has been out for 2 seasons and only just made the squad at the weekend. We are in November 2025, so how can he be the 3rd dirtiest player :joker:

Like them or not, you've gotta hand it to Arsenal, everything seems to have clicked into place for them this season. They look more than capable of winning every game they play atm. Top of the PL and CL tables going into December. If they can weather the hectic Christmas schedule storm i think the PL title is theirs to lose.

As far as title race goes, it's the biggest game of the season so far.
Interesting stat here for both Chelsea, Arsenal and City -
Chelsea goals for 23 - Top goalscorer Pedro with 4
Arsenal goals for 24 - Top goalscorer Eze with 4
City goals for 24 - Top goalscorer Haaland with 14
Chelsea and Arsenal scoring goals from all over the park, City heavily reliant on Haaland. That could be the difference this year. A Haaland injury would kill City, whereas Chelsea and Arsenal have multiple players scoring from every position. No one single player is carrying either side. And to think, Chelsea have been without Delap and Palmer for most gameweeks.

Yeah true. It shows how both Chelsea and Arsenal have developed into teams not reliant on just one player.

Estevao has been a revelation for Chelsea, and Palmer before him. But Estevao atm is as hot as they come. I would argue him starting on the bench has benefited Chelsea more overall (though, the form he's in, he'll soon be first name on the teamsheet) as whenever he comes on he sparks life into Chelsea. His energy rubs off on the other players.

Palmer can be very special when he's in the groove, but does have a habit of disappearing in games at times. But yeah, when he's on it he's pretty much unplayable.
And it's crazy to think that we're getting amazing results without Palmer atm, if he comes back and hits the ground running, Chelsea will be in a title race this season.

Don’t suppose you are old enough to have seen the Brazilian midfield of yesteryear

No, my first real memory of Brazil is France 98. Im hoping the hype doesn't hamper Estevao. Pundits already declaring he's the biggest Brazilian talent since Neymar. I do think Estevao and Palmer can play together though, one of the biggest things of note being Palmer has zero ego. Chelsea are a very solid team, no big egos. They all work for each other. Garnacho may have had an ego at Utd, just like Sancho before him, but it doesn't wash at Chelsea. They ran riot in the Utd dressing room, but not at Chelsea, not under Maresca.
Same for Arsenal tbf. They all work and play for each other, for the team.
City's biggest ego is Pep. Liverpool, i dunno, maybe Salah, but they're just a mess atm. Spurs? Disjointed.
Chelsea and Arsenal have it right this season, the right balance. But here's why i think Arsenal win the league - You watch them, and you don't really see a banana slip like incident that will cost them the match. Chelsea on the other hand, they lose the ball way too much from defence. It's cost us points already this season, and i think it'll cost us even more crucial points as the season progresses.

Brazilian players have this uncanny ability to hit the ground running at Chelsea!
Pedro (fallen off a little since his explosive start)
Willian (always reliable, a workhorse)
Ramires (pure underrated quality)
Thiago Silva (one of the best CB's of the past 20 years)
Andrey Santos (always plays well when he gets minutes)
Alex (solid, won lots with Chelsea)
David Luiz (ok, a bit of a joke now, but he had his best years at Chelsea)
Oscar (again, wasn't world class but contributed a lot the team)

I would agree !!
Liverpool have gone rogue
Spurs totally unpredictable
Arsenal USED to play joyous Sensible Soccer ( before your time again ) — fluent, fast slick football - now not so attractive leaning on the long throws and dead balls
I love their players just not Arteta’s new tactics
I like most of the team apart from the woeful CBs … Josh Acheampong looks to be a proper player though
I hope Delap gets a good run going as I like him and Toney as Kane’s backs or joint striker

BIB - I dunno, remember the Invincibles well with Henry and co playing gorgeous football.
So, imo, right now Chelsea are the most exciting English team to watch?

Yeah Arsenal played amazing stuff just a few years ago
Have a look at this kid Gilberto Mora on YouTube .. he’s got touch and vision of Iniesta but plays slightly more forward - he was running the Mexican international games at 16 !
( 17 just a few weeks ago ).

I'll have a look at that guy tomorrow, im half day at work.
Zizu, would you agree with me, that right now, Chelsea are the most exciting team to watch in England, maybe Europe?
We scored 6 goals against Barca, 3 Var'd, 3 stood. How does ANY team score 6 against Barca right now?!

Though my below Barca are on an equal basis when Pedri is playing - he makes them tick
All on a ridiculously low budget

Why on earth is Saka the Arsenal captain (when Odegard isn’t on the pitch ) ??
Surely it should be a more authoritative type such as Gabriel ( CB) or Declan Rice ?
Saka is younger, very quiet ( even shy) and hasn’t been at the top of his game for a while - not forgetting injuries !!

PSV aren't a mediocre team with all honesty
i mean Ivan Perisic still in a very good form, Dennis Man also in a very strong form, Matej Kovar begins to play better and better now
Mauro Junior how he ran past Salah sooooooo easily :D
Guus Til isn't a striker but a attacking midfielder, they just use him as a striker, also because of other striker injuries
Couhaib Driouech was first called a flop here, but now he has 3 CL goals, he is a very hard working player, from the reserves bench, getting his chances and not wasting those

Manchester United's proposed new Old Trafford stadium is included in the UK's bid to host the 2035 Women's World Cup.
Old Trafford was not considered for the 2028 men's European Championship and its redevelopment is still in the planning stages.
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland's joint bid stands unopposed and could be ratified by a vote in a Fifa congress in 2026.
If redevelopment plans do not go ahead, Old Trafford will still be considered in its current form.
In total the 21 other stadiums set to feature include Birmingham City's planned new stadium and Wembley - which is likely to host the final.
Should the UK's bid be confirmed, the 2035 tournament will be the second time a World Cup has been held in the home nations after the 1966 men's tournament in England.
In total, 22 stadiums were listed in Friday's announcement - 16 in England, three in Wales, two in Scotland and one in Northern Ireland.

i think Zizu might remember Perisic from his Barca days?
now he's 36, also still very much a starting 11 player for croatia national team, and he feels so at home here in eindhoven
Peter Bosz (PSV manager) his preferred style of play, is always very offensive attractive football, 4-3-3, or even 3-4-3
Jerdy Schouten is not a real CB, but a defensive midfielder, but him in the CB position just works perfectly, and Yarek Gasiorowski is a half spanish/half polish youth international, from Valencia
Ryan Flamingo, you might know from his Serie A days, as a goalscoring defender

Rogers and Eze basin in competition for the same England position
Rogers and Eze basin in competition for the same England position
Rogers the best player out there after 30 minutes
Villa being their usual over physical selves ..the Villa fans getting on the ref’s back for daring to give a free kick for yet another red card offside
Jesus
Aston Villa deservedly going into the break 1:0 up
Arsenal can’t play any worse so I expect them to be far better in the second half

Crazy to think Newcastle beat City 3 weeks ago. Arsenal only just getting over the line against Wolves, important thing is they did got over the line. Gutsy Villa with another huge win. Don't think we can really bring other teams into the title race atm. Chelsea with their usual December woes, was the same the last year. Spurs doing Spurs things. Liverpool will probably do well without the Salah drama for now. Utd quietly moving up the table. It's an interesting season tbh.
Palace and Sunderland doing well, nobody will look forward to playing them atm.
i'm loving this season. It should be Arsenal's for the taking and I still think they will get over the line first in the end, but it's going to be a battle because there are a lot of teams waiting to pounce if there is a slip up
