I’m thinking 2 goals for Broja ..
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Why do Chelsea trust Sterling with long distance free kicks LOL
He couldn’t trap a bag of cement and he even scuffs some of his passes !!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I’ve always said Sterling was vastly overrated but everyone defends him saying he was the best player for England and so on ..
He still runs into dead ends like he did 10 years ago and doesn’t see the ‘pass’
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
That penalty claim LOL
Totti cheated by falling over then Sterling deliberately fell over Totti’s outstretched leg /)
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Chelsea can still win this
Palmer is a class player
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Mmmm
It looks like defenders are being coached to play out from the back but not coached In defending
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
That decision to book Sterling is actually insane !!
He was barged heavily by the defender !
He will be able to appeal surely
The refs in this league are completely unfit for purpose
9 bookings in the second half !

Agreed
My top three
Can’t decide between Arsenal and Liverpool but I’ll go with Spurs third and ManC fourth !!
Controversial

I personally don't rule Man City out going on a 15 game winning streak.
But if they're having an off year (by their standards) then I could see Liverpool and Tottenham being the two to duke it out for the title, especially once Son and Maddison are reunited as a partnership.
Arsenal I think will be similar to last year where they choke at the final hurdle.

Son goes away for 5 weeks soon apparently plus they lost Romero to a hamstring injury yesterday

Every team is beatable this season and that's great as it makes for a far more interesting run in. It would be silly to write off Man City at this stage

Guess it’s any one from 5 ??
I think City are weaker than last year and the rest are stronger .. plus Arsenal and Liverpool are still evolving and still in 3rd gear

When does their punishment kick in?
If i was a Arsenal or Liverpool fan I'd be praying KDB doesn't come back and hit the ground running. Could make all the difference.
Only thing going for Chelsea is the League Cup. If we get to the final, just hope Liverpool don't embarrass us (will be a straight forward win for them though). We'll probably avoid relegation. No chance of European football in any form next season however.

I’m not sure … he’s getting older and the injuries keep coming .. it’s not an unfamiliar pattern .
They are betting everything on Haaland yet I saw some interesting stats about him ..
He was basically out of this world for the first 5 months of last season but tapered off somewhat … now he hasn’t started off that amazingly so why assume he’s gonna take the world by storm on his return .. plus a load of his goals last season came from Gundogan , Mahrez and Cancelo

you can't find a positive word to say about Man City, you are without fail continually negative about them, when they have been and still are the best team in europe. Liverpool, spurs and arsenal can't hold a candle to what city have achieved over the last 10 years

It's his bias. He can't see beyond it. Anyone with a knowledge of football knows if KDB comes back and hits decent form straight away, Arsenal/Liverpool etc are in trouble. It's just a fact.
You can say Utd are sh!t. I can say Chelsea are sh!t. But Arsenal and Liverpool are angels. Never put a foot wrong, and every team that faces them is a "bully".
That Arsenal/Liverpool match was average at best. To Zizu, because he likes them, it was a "marvellous" game. It wasn't, it was a bore, bar Salah's goal.
I won't let that Udougie challenge on Sterling drop, it was a clear red and dangerous play. The only reason i wont let it drop is because Zizu spams this thread non stop when a player from a team he likes is fouled. But when it's against a team he doesn't like, it's "fair game".
I have no love for City, but seeing them win another PL title would be all that more sweeter this season. However, i do think Liverpool will win the title this season.

The Premier League is just psychotic this season, at this rate we could see Sheffield Utd winning spree it's that insane when it comes to form.
Man City were 6 points off the top at this point last season, so they are not in a worse position than that this time round. All the top 4 are beatable on the day by just about any team so, how can that be predicted? I certainly don't know

Premier League is defunct soon anyway, with the super league replacing every domestic competition
and you only have Man City, PSG, Girona, RB Leipzig, Newcastle United remaining (aka the super rich teams who only have the rights of playing football in europe)

This year we've won a European trophy and just this month we've beaten Spurs, United and Arsenal. Extend Moyes!Well done to West Ham but looking at the stats....How did we lose that game? 70 odd touches in the West Ham penalty area. I;ve said before this season that West Hams counter attacking is not sustainable but they seem to convert the few chances they get.
I'm gonna call out Jesus. He wears the number 9 but he's not a striker at all. His instincts are all wrong. He'll score in two or three games running then he wont score for the next 7 or 8. XG of less than 5 in 14 games with just three goals. Its like he doesnt want to score goals.
Pep doesn't let players go easily that he wants to keep. Everyone was saying why did he let Palmer go, but there will be a reason why he let that happen too

I say we need the Lame League (I know that we already have the Scottish Premiership) but nobody deserves that fate.:joker:
The Lame League would have 20 teams from all over the world, and whoever has the most points at the end of the season is the winner (ties separated based on which team has scored more goals throughout the season) but here are the 20 teams to represent the Lame League.
1. Birmingham City (England)
2. Celtic (Scotland)
3. Derry City (Northern Ireland)
4. Salford City (England)
5. Forest Green (England)
6. Fort William (Scotland)
7. San Marino (Country)
8. Sutton United (England)
9. Pontypridd United (Wales)
10. Barry Town United (Wales)
11. Almeria (Spain)
12. Granada (Spain)
13. Cagliari (Italy)
14. Clermont (France)
15. Vitesse (Netherlands)
16. Gibraltar (Country)
17. New Zealand (Country)
18. England (Country)
19. Republic Of Ireland (Country) - I'd pray that John O'Shea is patriotic to his country in this scenario.:joker:
20. Qatar (Country)
Of course it helps that this league would have us as title contenders, but fans of all of these teams could finally see their teams win a game of Football.:laugh:

Arteta reckons he needs a striker, another midfielder and two full backs. Get the business done cuz I think we've not been in control but that we've been lucky so far this season.
Full credit to Fulham. They played well but watch Man City thrash them when they play

i think all the top teams have dropped points written all over them this season. Liverpools turn will comeWith all the top teams dropping points Man City must be licking their chops. Went away 4th and now 3rd after playing only one game.
Might as well hand it them now.

All Arsenal are doing now is what their north London neighbours are pros at, bottling it.

Can’t see them releasing Partey just when he’s regained fitness especially as they’ve hit a blip plus he’s going away now for a month
Partey is more effective than Rice has been in that deeper role .. they can move Rice forward

England midfielder Jordan Henderson, 33, wants to return to the Premier League from Saudi Arabian side Al Ettifaq and will seriously consider any offers the club receive this month.
Chelsea could move for Henderson, which would increase the likelihood of Gallagher moving on.

Same applies to Roberto Firmino
::::::
Former Brazil ace Firmino has had interest although no English clubs are willing to pay the £300,000-a-week it would take to get him.
He signed a three-year deal with Al-Ahli in the summer but could now quit just six months into his contract.
Firmino has managed just three goals and three assists in 19 appearances so far this season.
The forward has also not started a league match since October, coinciding with his side's eight-match unbeaten run.

I don't think they will find it that easy to come back, they are under contract so the saudi's dont need to sell, and if they do it will be at a premium and as these players are all at the end of their careers, there wont be much demand for them
We don't want Henderson at Chelsea, he wont be coming here.

Gerard, like Lampard, great players, rubbish managers. They need to take a leaf out of Gary Nevile and Roy Keane's book, get a safe job as pundits. They won't ever be good managers.

I hope Manu do sign Beznema. HE'll be good but, it keeps them in the cycle of buying players more for marketing than for long term gain. He'd be an expensive but short term gift for the fans but seeing what happened to his mate CR7 he might have reservations
For Arsenal, we need a striker but, so does everyone else except Man City. My left field signing is is to take Evan Ferguson on loan with option to buy at the end of the season. I hate it when fans turn into accountants and claim this or that players isn't worth the money but I'm going to do it this one time
In terms of ready made striker, there are only a few who would hit the ground running and most are close to or over 100million. Osimen would be great but realistically if I were him I'd be looking for Real Madrid , Bayern etc. All the others would be too hit and miss.
For me, Ferguson would instantly become no2 and would play more minutes than Nketiah. IF he scores 8 or 10 goals from now to end of season then bid whatever necessary to get him

We've got 873 players injured, and we already have the smallest squad in the whole premier league. 14 players fewer than yernited who have the largest squad with 36.
Owners who won't spend a penny to help a team at the top of the league. Exactly the same thing that happened the year after we won our asterisk title :hehe: By the end of Jan we'll be in a battle for top 4 as City stroll to another title.

All that being said, Chelsea aren't anywhere near the level of Liverpool this season. And, if Chelsea do get the final, it's in February right? You'll have Salah back by then. Look at Saturday, Arsenal all over Liverpool, but they couldn't finish (Chelsea have that problem most weekends), then Liverpool punish them.
Our 2nd best player is a 96 year old centre back, and we've spent £300 Trillion, that should tell you all you need to know.

Its a testament to Klopp that you are back after last season. I'd be optimistic if Arsenal were in your position. If it wasn't for the Spurs robbery, you'd be unbeaten in the league
Our manager on the other hand, sends Keiren Tierney out on loan and now claims he needs full backs. Buys a goalkeeper and misfit forward who were both not needed pushing us close to FFP breaking point and now he reckons he needs more midfielders. For the 90 odd million spunked on King Kai and Raya he could have signed Maddison and Kudus and Tielemans and Ward-Prowse.
Arteta is not looking like the football clever clogs he thinks he is.
i think bringing in Raya was the single most stupid thing Arteta has done. He has created hesitancy in defence when everything was nicely settled
