Another walkover
Surely Fulham away , Spurs away and then West Ham ( Moyse’s last game in charge) at home will see better performances from those teams

I always think of the fans of said club in that particular scenario.

I have to remind everyone of the Spurs fans who thought they were gonna win the league back in October. Thats the thing with them, they pull half a dozen results our of their arses and they think they're the best in Europe. Its laughable. Now its great to hear them talk about sacking big Ange when a few months ago he was their saviour.
Brilliant, world class bottlers :joker:
The blocking and obstructing that went on i the penalty box today was incredible
One instance involved Johnson jockeying and pushing Quansa from the edge of the 6 yard box to completely off the pitch behind the goals without EVER looking at the ball !
The ref , assistants and VAR did nothing

Following up on the rumour that the charges against Man City will be dropped. Mark Goldbridge has been sent a cease and desist letter by Man City lawyers, because he has been saying city are guilty, Mark has acknowledged that he has received the letter himself publicly

Try looking at it from a different angle. The premier league came up with the charges, and its now up to them (or whoever they directed to represent them) make it stick. Do you have full confidence that the PL are up to the job?
Julen Lopetegui has agreed a deal to become West Ham manager at the end of the season.
Nothing has been signed yet but the 57-year-old is close to making a return to management following his departure from Wolves in August last year.
Current Hammers boss David Moyes has come under increasing pressure after a poor run of results that has seen his side win one of their past nine Premier League games and exit the Europa League in the quarter-finals.
West Ham were thrashed 5-0 by Chelsea on Sunday to leave them ninth in the table.
Moyes, who is out of contract in the summer, has repeatedly fended off questions about his future at the club, saying talks will not take place until after their final game at Manchester City on 19 May.

Let me put it this way, Man City surely are not going to beat every single one of the 115 charges. That would be very stinky and I'd like to there to be an enquiry if this rumour of all charges being dropped is true.
Trying to gag Goldbridge is a bully tactic. HE is entitled to his opinion and he doesnt have to prove anything he says. Man City are not winning many friends with their stance on these charges and justice needs to be seen to be done.

Didn't I say something very similar about two months ago?
Spurs will be Spurs. Lost 4 in row. Gone 4-0 down twice, 3-0 down once and 2-0 down but they've got the best back five in the league according to the fans. They did a combine 11 before the NLD and most of the Spurs fans were putting 5 of their players in it. 5, I'm not joking:laugh:
I like Big Ange and you know my feelings ie that he should use Spurs as a stepping stone for an actual big job. I like that he's being stubborn about the deficiencies of his team. At least he believes in his philosophy and the players need to buy into it more.
What is troubling in how the players have dropped off. A few months ago according to the fans Maddison is better than Odergaard but spurs fans are telling me Maddison hasnt had a good game since March. This drop off shows they were never anywhere near in the first place.

But he’s been successful everywhere he’s been
If you’d have asked the Spurs faithful before the season started if they’d settle for 5th ( maybe even 4th) in the league , playing wonderfully exciting football they would have all said Hallelujah !
He’s done all that in his first season in charge, with long standing injuries to many key players throughout the season ( and losing some crucial ones to the Asian cup competitions) .. all this against three amazing teams in Arsenal, Liverpool and RuleBreakingCity !!

I like Ange and the way he plays but this is not the Scottish Prem. Teams get hit quickly at this level.
I have a friend who follows Celtic who told me that under Ange Spurs will lose games when they've had 70% possession. A great call and someone who sees the deficiencies of Ange-ball.
Its gonna take time for this project to come together and players, who are fan favourites, will have to be let go. This is stuff the Spurs fans couldnt see a few months ago as they were too busy gassing it about how good they think they are.
Then we get the Levy issues ie the chairman not backing the project with his money and I'm optimistic that Spurs arent gonna do much for the next few seasons. Just like they haven't for a few years now.

Who knows
But without all the injuries to absolute key players plus losing their midfield plus Son to those competitions they would be challenging for 3rd place
This last dreadful run coincides with losing Udogie who is vital down the left

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ProI dont accept the 'injuries' excuse. Its an excuse. Liverpool have had more out and Arsenal have had Timber out for the whole season and Partey out. Looking at the way Partey has played since coming back I can say that if we had him we may have sown it up by now. ITs very Spurzy to use the 'injuries' excuse.
Lets talk about the midfield cuz I think the midfield that Spurs fans raved about is actually not good enough for this level. I alluded to it in a previous post that fan faves may be let go and I see Bissouma being one. I compare him to Hector Bellerin. A player Arsenal fans were certain would fit into Artetas plan but after two seasons we finally saw that he just doesn't fit in. This is why I urge Spurs fans to be cautious. Maddison too. A few months ago he was better than Odergaard now Spurs fans are calling him selfish. Trying to make 20 - 30 million pound players into 100 million pound players needs a huge input from the player himself and those two are prime examples of players who seem to have hit a wall this season. Unlike Odergaard who is definitely now a much better player that the player signed from Real Madrid. How many Spurs players can we say are better now than when signed? Not many.
I like Ange but Spurs are nowhere near where some of the fans think they are.

Personally I agree with you.
It's like with us, as a fanbase we kept blaming the Managers, but most of the time it was the players being half-hearted.
And I think that a similar thing is happening at Man Utd, and tbh I think it happens at Crystal Palace too, and Spurs.

Presumably they’re just not made of the proper stuff .. over the decades there have countless numbers of players who rocked up at Old Trafford with the intention of taking the world by storm only to fail miserably
Gary Birtles springs to mind .. fabulous scoring centre forward , England international yet he went something like 5 months without scoring and wasn’t kept very long - the pressure just got to him
On the other side Ibrahimovic arrived and supposedly took over the dressing room on the first morning .. even screaming at Pogba telling him a thing or two ( Pogba thought he was Billy Big Balls yet never really turned up for ManU )

What are your thoughts on Mudryk ?!
I was gutted when he chose Chelsea over Arsenal as he’s looked amazing on the YouTube clips …
But then he was just useless for most of the season until a few weeks ago when he started to show some nice touches .
He looks unplayable one minute but disappointing the next

Yeah he's hit and miss Zizu. Like you say, some games (truth be told it's rare) he can be unplayable. Just pure class. But he's a 1-8 like player. Just completely lacks any kind of consistency. But lacking consistency is Chelsea as a whole, in a nutshell this season.
He needs to start every game imo.

Great win today
I've resigned my self to the fact that even if Arsenal win all their games Man City will also win their remaining games and take the title. Cant rely on Spurs to do us a favour.
Its a shame. I dont think City are as good as last year but I'm happy that its a clear top two and Arsenal are one of the top two. Also that its going down to the last game.
Already looking forward to next season and I hope we can compete again.

A Spurs/City draw would mean the final day would come down to GD, City would need 3 more than Arsenal. Imagine going into the last 5 mins with City needing 1 goal to go above Arsenal. That would be great for a neutral. I don't mind who wins the league. Actually thought Liverpool were going to win it, but they've fallen off a cliff in the past month.

It’s apparently a much used ruse of deliberately delaying and deferring each answer every case , again and again until it gets too drawn out and expensive to continue.
The more offences there are the easier it is to get the lot of them dropped !
There’s even a well known legal saying which escapes me that describes this well known strategy

I honestly don't mean this to sound horrible about Arsenal, but there isn't really much of a fight going on is there really?
It has to be the most boring Premier League season for actual competition of all time, because Man City beats both Tottenham and West Ham to win the title, and Luton won't beat Fulham 13-0 to stay up.
The Championship and lower have wiped the floor with the Premier League this season imo, heck! Even the Bundesliga is having a shakeup with what Leverkusen have been doing.

Did Son miss on purpose? Of course not but I can see why some of the more deluded think so. Even Danny Murphy has said it was an easy chance and Son looked off all game.
On the other hand the Spurs fans cheering a loss is real. That's the talking point IMO I hope Ange sees this and puts his hat in the ring for the Man Utd job cuz with the right squad he'll do well, shame he'll never get a great squad at Spurs
On to next year. I'm happy with where my team are , can Spurs fans, West Ham fans, Man Utd fans, Chelsea fans say that?.
The lot of you need to wind your necks in. Arsenal pushed Man City to the last game of the season in a genuine two horse race. Not three horse cuz Liverpool couldn't last the pace and apparently it was gonna be Liverpool's pedigree in the run in that would tip the scale. Remember when alot of people thought Arsenal would finish 3rd. Now people are like 'HaHa!!! You lost again' Serious though, real talk, how many better teams are there in the Premiership.?
Arsenal are one of the top clubs in the premiership. No one can deny it.
i think Ange will be on his way now, and I hope Man U grab him if that happens.
Spurs fans wearing man city tops and cheering ecstatically when City scored is just not fans i would want

I hope so, he deserves better. Some on Talksport are saying Ange was out of order criticising the fans. Where the hell does this loser attitude come from?
Wow !!

Shameful that some fans actually cheered Man City's first goal.

Honestly yeah, we've had three great years at West Ham and have some optimism for next season. Spurs feel like they've advanced a lot this year, Chelsea feel they've turned a corner, and even United have won something more recently than Arsenal. Arsenal are not that enviable imo

To counter,
West Ham - Saw you live against Forest. You stunk up the City Ground pitch. Yeah you did. It was embarrassing against dopey dozey Forest.
Spurs - The fans can gas it but they hit a wall in March. Did Arsenal hit a wall in March? Celebrating a loss is embarrassing but as Ange has pointed out, its the culture at this club
Man Utd - The problems have been there for years and are well documented. I cant add more. They can win the fizzy drink trophy and it papers over the cracks.
Chelsea - Without Palmer I see a 2nd rate dysfunctional team.
Arsenal - Strong teem. No physically as well. A manager who addresses all aspects of the game. is becoming a great in game manager and has the support of the players. Players like Saka, Saliba and Odergaard who were all purchased on the cheap but are now 80 million plus players and improving each year. I'm not asking anyone to be envious but you have to admit Arsenal are heading in the right direction
Newcastle’s Wilson out due to injury !!
Yawn
