Rumours that Arsenal will go for
Isak in the summer !!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Thought you were serious till I saw the bit in bold.
To counter,
West Ham - Saw you live against Forest. You stunk up the City Ground pitch. Yeah you did. It was embarrassing against dopey dozey Forest.
Spurs - The fans can gas it but they hit a wall in March. Did Arsenal hit a wall in March? Celebrating a loss is embarrassing but as Ange has pointed out, its the culture at this club
Man Utd - The problems have been there for years and are well documented. I cant add more. They can win the fizzy drink trophy and it papers over the cracks.
Chelsea - Without Palmer I see a 2nd rate dysfunctional team.
Arsenal - Strong teem. No physically as well. A manager who addresses all aspects of the game. is becoming a great in game manager and has the support of the players. Players like Saka, Saliba and Odergaard who were all purchased on the cheap but are now 80 million plus players and improving each year. I'm not asking anyone to be envious but you have to admit Arsenal are heading in the right direction
Well it's all relative. Yeah we've had some shockers this year (part of the reason we're moving on from Moyes) but we've still had three great years compared to our recent history, three solid European campaigns and one trophy. Moyes leaves us in a good place overall.
Spurs are earlier in their journey than Arsenal but again, relative to the last couple of seasons they have progressed. Chelsea have as well but I still don't expect them to properly competing for another couple of years.
Arsenal have done well but fact remains they will come up short again and have another trophyless season. Both last year and this season have been major opportunities as well because City haven't been quite at it for patches of the season. Arsenal have also been more boring to watch this season than last year

Spurs are a basketcase club
4 managers now have exposed the toxic nature of the people who run it and the actual state of their fans through decades of failure is a spectacle to behold

Both last year and this season have been major opportunities as well because City haven't been quite at it for patches of the season. Arsenal have also been more boring to watch this season than last yearSpurs have a long long way to go. The fans dont think so but they do. There will be a clear out before they can see what Ange is up to. I like that he is blaming the players and not his tactics cuz at this point in the process he is correct. IF he get the squad he wants then he may do well but I doubt he ever will. I think Mr Levy will stop the investment when SPurs get top four. As I mentioned in another thread Arletta won the FA cup in his first year and it also gave him alot of capital with the fans. I doubt if SPurs will go unbeaten in their first ten games again now everyone has seen Ange-ball close up and know how to counter it.
I really object to the point you make in the third paragraph. First, there are only four trophies anyone can win and Arsenal won one last year. Not the trophy anyone remember but with Man City around Winning anything is much harder than before. Arsenal have won more league games this season than the invincible year. Its so much harder to get past Man City than any other team in the history of the Prem.
You say 'boring' I say 'control'. The 100 mile an hour football of 2023 was not sustainable. I like that the team can control games then turn on the gas. I like the way Arsenal play this year much more than last. Last year we were always in fear of going two goals down. Now , no chance. The closest was Luton and we scored in the ,last minute to get past them. This Arsenal team are no pushover and if that mean we lose a bit of excitement, I have no issues.

Maybe, Sheffield Utd are awful, record breakingly awful. We could probably organise a TiBBS to beat them, In saying that, Chelsea drew 2-2 with them, of course.
Also, i like how both Chelsea and Utd were sailing to victory tonight, but both did their best to fcuk it all up late on.

No Saka in the Arsenal squad. Not even on the bench. Must be the first time for about 4 years that he hasn't featured.
For the first time since Arsenal moved to the Emirates there will be replica of the EPL trophy at the ground with Arsenal colours on it. Doubt we'll win but I hope this the first of many times we're in it coming up to the last game of the season

Unfortunately I was right.
I think that the gap in quality between Fury and Usyk could be bridged, where as West Ham are much weaker than Man City, and with Man City being at home there was only ever going to be one result.
Thankfully the most boring season of the Premier League is finally over, hopefully next season will be better, and hopefully give out some karma to Leicester and Tottenham, because the one thing that I can't stand is competition destroying levels of cheating, and that is what those two teams did this season.

Nothing drew attention to the elephant in the room quite like the absence of the Premier
League’s chief executive at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Richard Masters has attempted to downplay the significance of his decision to go to the
Emirates to watch Arsenal rather than see Manchester City clinch an unprecedented fourth
Premier League title

"City are convinced they will be exonerated".
So convinced that for years they refused to cooperate with the investigation
and then stalled the process to the point that 35 of the charges relate to:
"Failure to co-operate with Premier League investigations December 2018
- Feb 2023".
Anything that city have done will be open to interpretation. None of the charges are as cut and dried as .... you made a loss more than the 3 year limit.
They won't end up with any consequences, because there isn't a big club in the premier league that hasn't done exactly the same. If city get penalties, be prepared for liverpool, arsenal, spurs, chelsea and man u suffering the same consequences

Then all of them should be punished.
If the Footballing world (which in Europe we're all meant to follow similar financial regulations) can give points deductions to Blues, Everton, Forest, Reading multiple times, Southampton, Leeds, Luton, Derby, Sheffield Wed, and Bolton, I mean some of these teams are a similar size historically to Man City, yet they've all had points deductions in the past over FFP rule breaks, yet the so called big six don't? It's not really that different to how La Liga favours Real Madrid and Barcelona over the other 18 teams in their League when they repeatedly break rules.
What Football has got to remember, is that there are more people that will support a "smaller" club than there will be that supports a "bigger" club (even though Blues, Wigan, Swansea, and Leicester have actually won more trophies than Tottenham in recent years) but we will ignore the facts for now and I'll carry on with my point, which is if the Footballing world keeps showing such blatant favouritism towards the bigger teams, and a complete disregard for the smaller teams, then they can't be surprised if people that are fans of the smaller clubs end up losing interest in the Sport, because if their team is being treated more harshly than the big teams, then what's the point in following that particular team's progress?
It's no different to a TV Show that has a stagnant character with no character development, whilst that same TV Show gives another character all of the iconic storylines and dialogue, nobody likes such an unbalanced writing approach in a TV Show, and it shouldn't be acceptable for certain Football teams to get away with breaking the rules, whilst others can't.

All I'll say to teams that operate like that, is look at where we are currently.
Eustace lost about three games on the bounce, and the owners used it as a justification to sack him, despite the fact that afterwards he had pulled off comfortable wins against Huddersfield and West Brom.
The rest is history, and definitely something that every Football Club should try to avoid.

Leaks usually mean people at the club are not happy and fed up

i think there are a lot of pissed off people at Man U. INEOS have come in and want to sack people and make them work from the office etc. They have made a lot of enemies

as long as Man U don't come for Peter Bosz, i'm fine with any other manager
also Bosz should not want to sign in that toxic snake pit
if Kieran McKenna is smart he'll think this through as well, i mean much better environment where he is now at Ipswich
Man U are seriously ****** unless they can find someone of the same caliber as Sir Alex
ManU apparently in for Michael Olise !!

Wonder who Arsenal will go for, Toney or Isak? Who do you prefer out of the 2 Zizu?

Either would be fabulous
Though apparently Toney will only cost £30 to £40 million whereas Isak will be £90 to £100 million apparently

I personally feel like Isak suits Arsenal more, and Toney suits Chelsea. But we shall see i guess.

Ten Hag should walk out now and leave them in the lurch. He has a cast iron case for constructive dismissal
I wish he would, he isn't the best manager but the players have to take some responsibility
Bloody Villa are getting Barkley for free supposedly . Guess it’s the lure of the Champions League …

Kieran McKenna has signed a new four-year deal to remain in charge of Ipswich Town after overseeing the Suffolk club's incredible rise to the Premier League.
Everton say they will "assess all options for future ownership" after the deadline for the sale of the club to 777 Partners expired.
The US-based consortium agreed to buy majority owner Farhad Moshiri's 94% stake in the club in September 2023.
777 Partners was given until 05:00 BST on Saturday to complete the share purchase agreement of Everton but the deadline passed without resolution.
The club say they will "continue to operate as usual" as they look at their ownership options.

There will be a fire sale there soon

 have they made a decision on Ten Hag yet, they are literally a disgrace they have had plenty time, either sack him or confirm he is staying, looks like they are trying to keep their bread buttered on both sides..

We have lost out on 2 players we were favourites to get because INEOS couldn't tell them if ten hag was going to be there or not

Id leave if I were Bruno
there will be tons of clubs in Europe after him?
Bruno is 29, Ten Hag was 2 years into a project and has won 2 trophies, so with a bit of squad improvement could progress next season. If they sack him, that project resets. He wants to win things in his remaining years, so i don't blame him for being pissed

deffo agree with you Cherie
am also happy with Kieran staying at Ipswich, this season should be just about surviving if you can, after that you can up your ambitions some more maybe
and tbh there are plenty of players in the market whom also would be interested in taking on this battle to avoid relegation
