But the apps are used to sift though who you do or don't want to meet. And there is the opportunity there to take it further... now if my partner reached out to a porn star they were obsessed with... that would also be concerning.

Yeah, but how far is someone with a partner going to take it with a stranger on an app. Sex/nudes concerning strangers, obviously porn is purely consumed through a screen, but so is a large percentage of the nudes culture who never actually meet. With the progression of technology I think the lines are blurring.

I guess far enough to seek a one on one intimate connection with one person through an app as opposed to watching just the physical acts of sex between a couple of actors in porn. I would be way more upset by a partner looking for someone else for a personal attachment/connection even if it is just on line, sexy or not, than a partner getting turned on by a sex or porno scene. We all have our own visual turn ons.... but emotional connections are the intimate part of the relationship... not to be shared... I guess unless you are polyamourous or something.
