Stereotypically, they're probably a bit more likely to be driven, go out and get it, and even have some life experience I also don't mind / mostly like tattoos so that could be part of it (even though I'd never personally get one, not for me)

It could! More willing to make changes, take "risks" etc. and a lot of times the tattoos come from life experiences, deaths, some type of meaning that motivates them.

Tattoos are like clothes, simply a personal choice and don't have any bearing on someone's quality of life, their history nor their ability to work. Any suggestion to the contrary is absolutely ridiculous.
