Right and as proven today, we can’t teach about the success of some major British cities without discussing the slave trade either, so why not teach about it?
If we want to move forward and have people understand the history of British racism and oppression, we can’t continue to hide away from out historic atrocities, teaching people that Churchill was nothing more than a hero, is intellectually incorrect and that’s just for starters, we shouldn’t be hiding our past.
