You may mostly see her giving to charity and rocking neon outfits, but the United Kingdom's reigning monarch does have some very real governmental power.

If you read the article though, all the things she "can" do either are purely ceremonial or have to ve agreed by the Government or haven't been done during her reign or for centuries.
I appreciate the monarchy in relation to the charity work, tourist money etc but they do not "rule" in any way shape or form now.
