Judging from my own experiences in retail, both him and his manager are probably laughing at the guy who kicked up a fuss over 29p.

what kind of logic is that? sometime you pick something up and think you have enough then find you are 2p out or something you might get away with it in a corner shop you will have to put it back in a chain

It's garlic bread not champagne, just to dezzy with your debit card answer, have you ever seen someone get to the till and their card won't work, because I have loads of times, plus I know two cafes and a kebab shop that only take cash.
