Adebayor scored 30 goals at Arsenal in one season. He'll be lucky if he scores 30 for Man City.

keithafc

They have a **** load of money to do so. Any club which is taken over like that is going to spend. Woulnd't be surprised if it even happens to Arsenal in the next year or so. Such with the Usmanov/kronke thing at the moment.

I know you all know that Liverpool are world class and will end the season 1st or 2nd and reach the final or semi final in the Champions League..

Liverpool always aim high, and they reach high.. Liverpool can destroy any team..

Real Madrid and Man Utd felt the might of Liverpool's team..

Aston Villa are ready to bid for Tottenham midfield pair David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas.

The Daily Mail says Aston Villa are weighing up a double swoop for Bentley and Jenas. Spurs are ready to lower the £12million asking price for Bentley as manager Harry Redknapp looks for the funds to sign Celtic’s Scott Brown.

Villa boss Martin O’Neill is only willing to make a £6m down-payment for Bentley, who is on police bail having been charged with drink-driving after crashing his Porsche last week.

The deal could rise to £8m with add-ons, while Jenas is likely to go for about £7m.

Setting off for Sunderland soon, going into a bar for some pre-game drinking and a meal then heading off to the stadium to maybe catch the players coming from the coach to the stadium.

Heard on the radio that Richardson is doubtful, and that... Fatty Andy Reid will be playing. Oh dear god.

Liverpool Snap Up Greek International Sotiris Kyrgiakos

http://i28.tinypic.com/2nbzq4p.jpg

Liverpool have today pulled off a surprise transfer coup, and swooped for Greek international Sotiris Kyrgiakos from AEK Athens, as manager Rafa Benitez looks to reinforce his rearguard, weakened by injury in recent days.

Kyrgiakos has spent only a year back in Greece, after a career which has seen him play in Germany for Eintracht Frankfurt and in Scotland with Rangers.

Goal.com Greece reports that the player has cost the Reds €3million, after they Merseysiders made an initial bid of €1.5million. AEK themselves began the negotiations holding out for €5million.

The move has seemingly emerged from out of the blue, surprising Greek observers who had little or no inkling that the swoop was on the cards.

Liverpool travel to Stoke City on Wednesday night with doubts surrounding the fitness of Martin Skrtel, who has a jaw injury, though he could possibly play, and Daniel Agger, still sidelined with a back injury.

While the transfer has yet to become official, it is expected to be confirmed shortly.

Hmm, I've heard of him but don't think I've ever seen him play.
