I just think he's a magnificent footballer. Has everything you need in a midfielder. Only thing he's lacking is maybe what Ballack still has in his game.... that kinda presence- you know what I mean?

What Keane had and Ballack still has, even if he's not the player he was 5 years ago.

IMO; Essien > ballack

Of course he's better than Ballack right now....Ballack is nearly passed it. I'm just saying he needs to have more of that presence that Ballack still exudes.

That's not a bad tally if he's not starting regularly. All depends on how often he gets played. I don't like the chap but think he has potential.

mikel plays as a defensive midfielder so he is bound to get less points as he does not score And Assist as much his job is to protect the back 4 which he does well IMO

Mikel also scored a lot of points for a defensive midfielder more then anderson

They are infinitely better than Mikel... that will be proven this year with them all fit and Deco and Ballack pushing again for spots in the team. Essien will be played as much as possible. Mikel will be dropped eventually if everyone is fit.
