I would say we didn't really have a project manager, but I would also argue that I stepped up as a leader throughout the task

I did bring this up constantly if you remember, from the start I suggested 4 European countries that weren't as popular (Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia and Malta)

I also made it clear that I did not agree with the brazil or Australia ideas and I felt the whole lodges and activity centre ideas werent what we were tasked with, so I do feel like the other two were the two wasting time.

I tried to curb this idea, but I kept being told that it was a good idea :/

I did throw ideas down, so no time was wasted because neither of my team mates would have read them until they logged on

i knew it was a team effort, it's a total team effort that how a strong business works. That's why i said the other candidates could and should produce something visual too and Jake did. Me and Jake mentioned loads of places that make Gdansk unique (restaurants ect) and none of those places were mentioned in our final pitch.

I say we all had equal say and we scrambled around trying to make things work.

I do not feel that I was under prepared at all, I prepared for this pitch for most of the day and I felt that I did a very good pitch.

I think personally maybe I could have done a tad more research about other parts then the ones we advertised, but I think that's a very very very minor thing as I felt I sold Gdansk very well.

Let me state this now, I would never ever ever sabotage anyone's work, I think that's totally immoral and is not fair at all.

I did ask for any work to be submitted to me so that I could compile it as earlier when organising the pitch my iPad was extremely slow, I don't know whether this was for everyone on TiBB, but it's hard to multitask on an iPad.

Before the point is made about why I didn't start the pitch ealier, I was busy the entire of yesterday, the day before by the time we had a place chosen it was bedtime and today Ive had this party to organise on top of other things, plus during this week I've had to deal with some personal issues, I know I shouldn't be making 'excuses' but considering all these points I think I have done as well as humanly possible with what I had.

I listed a number of things straight away as i mentioned Gdansk. Including Słowiński National Park with it's movable dunes and Bory Tucholskie National Park as well nine landscape parks and a few dozens of nature reserves. Then mentioned it's amazing zoo, unique boat trips, picturesque evening strolls and A number of pubs and restaurants.

I know you said you had only naff ideas but putting them down in the thread would at least have shown you were coming up with possible things as opposed to giving up/lacking enthusiasm. I'm glad to see you stepped it up a notch though and got some ideas rolling. The places you suggested were good (the cafe's ect) but you easily seemed to blame Pot for not putting them in the final pitch, yet after you posted them once I saw no mention of them again in the thread.


Loukas: I commend your designs, that is your strong point, what I didn't commend was the time wasting on a tangent that was taking the team further and further away from the objective of the task. I feel it cost you all valuable time and you showed a big weaknesses here with that. I like the fact you finally got back on track, with a little nudge from myself, and picked something that was actaully quite interesting. I feel you should have focused on one target audience though rather than "everyone", again this was a downfall.


Poth: You took on the role of pitching and I feel you could have been a little better prepared for some of the basic info/USP's of Gdańsk. I do appreciate that I threw you some pretty tough questions and I do like the fact you stuck to your guns about how great this place is rather than cave in. You were also the one to keep trying to keep the team focused on the objective and to stop straying away, as well as actually doing some research but I do also feel that maybe you could have contributed a tad more.

Poth as he was the ONLY one to keep the objective focused and to actually try market research. Loukas and Jake, you wasted too much time with silly ideas (luckily Kate gave you all an extra day or I dread to think what would have happened in the end) and even the designs were pretty weak for 3 days worth of work if I am honest. Poth you stuck to your guns with the pitch (although it could have been better)

I'll say this now, whoever makes the final needs to step up their game, for three days worth of work this was a below average performance, you all had the ideas there and could have made this an amazing creation had you all just communicated properly and stopped wasting time.

Jake and Loukas... being that this is the final and you've come so far, I feel like you've both heard enough criticism for now and I'll merely base this on who I think can offer the most in the final challenge, and who deserves it the most.

Jake, you've fought long and hard to get Elite into a decent shape since that early string of defeats and have taken a lot of flak from your teammates; in spite of this you won the forum game task, and have overcome a whole bunch of setbacks (such as terrible inactive arsebandits like Lucas).

Loukas, this is your very first time in the boardroom. An impressive statistic already. On the other hand, you've never been team leader and have sometimes taken a lot of time into task deadlines to really get rolling. Is placing you in the final worth the risk of another last-minute submission?

I've made my decision, though, and the final contestant that I'll be firing is...

Jake and Pothuthic. Hmm. I could give reasons for and against both......each of them has done some good work across the various tasks, and each of them has won Star Performer once. Jake can be a bit of a procrastinator, he faffs about a bit :joker: but he's very imaginative and produces the goods in the end. Pothuthic can be a bit of a lone wolf, he prefers to be in the limelight rather than share it :p but he's bright and ambitious.

As I have to make some sort of decision, then for me it comes down to who I think will make a better adversary for Loukas in the final, and that's Jake.
