Penny will get some junior cabinet post. I would imagine that Coffey will get promoted to chancellor after the exceptional job she did at health
Very selective you're being there.
Even Johnson's lawbreaking isn't held against him.
Not even by you.
He probably did less law breaking than most in here if we’re being honest with ourselves.

Unbelievable.
The law he was found out on and which he broke.
Were the laws he made, dictated to and inflicted on the whole UK.
With penalties.
So it's okay you think that everyone else was expected to obey the law.
However it was okay for him not to.
I don't even know why I should be surprised at that response.
Hardliner Cons will defend him to the hilt no matter what wrongs he does.
They say they hate liars and hammer other professionals or even Royals for supposedly lying.
Yet because it's Johnson he should be a special case.
Not me, I won't ever have sympathy for the odious creep.

How many days do you give it until Rishi is sacked for being "incompetent?"
I'll give him 65 days.
I do think he'll be more assured and competent than Truss and moreso than Johnson.
He talks however of humility and integrity.
Well normally I would agree wholeheartedly with the position of the PM of the day with the support of his/her government to choose and call the time of a general election.
This time never mind the polling or who is in government.
I do think integrity if it's what he wishes to be seen as having, then this scenario now does lean more to having one in my view.
Never has there been 2 changes of Party leader and PM in the course of the 5 years following a general election.
With forcing the electorate to have NO say whatsoever.
That should be wrong.
Between 2015 to 2019 when it SUITED the Cons.
We had the Country forced into 2 further elections from 2015 in only 4 years.
If this was Labour or in fact any other Party in government changing leader and PM TWICE in under 3 years.
The Con Party, Con MPs, members and Con supporters would be screaming this was not acceptable and be rightly furious.
The detestable media would be waging a relentlessly vindictive campaign to aim to force an election too.
That may end up the real test of Sunak's integrity.
If he seeks a mandate from the UK electorate very soon and not sit back waiting only for an opportunistic time to do so.
He won't be constitutionally wrong to stay there until 2024 but if he does his claim of humility and integrity will then be probably far more meaningless.
i think monday is the crucial day because it's not going to be received well by anyone

I do actually agree with him here.
It is unfortunate that hasn't happened yet.
Labour did have the first female deputy leaders and briefly female acting leaders.
They also had the first female Foreign secretary .
Yes though, it is surprising and unfortunate.
Not that I'd want Labour to have ridiculous leaders like Mrs May, Truss or the Lib Dems Swinson.
Having said that Labour has elected poor male leaders too.
My Dad once said to me he was sure Labour would have the first female leader in Barbara Castle.
Plus had she not lost her seat in 1979, he also believed Shirley Williams was likely to take over from Callaghan.
It hasn't happened and yes, no denying it, it is really surprising as to it taking so long to have the highest Party position not yet to have been held by a Female or individual from an ethnic background.
Definitely it should have happened by now.
As a Labour member that's something I'm not happy about.
Harriett Harman too was acting leader twice it's surprising she didn't seek election to the top job, rather than just running for deputy leader.
Puzzling.

Puzzling.
I will never agree with anything grotesque Piers Morgan has to say ,the bloke is the biggest attention seeker & the biggest hypocrite. This is the same creep that developed a very unhealthy questionable obsession with Meghan Markle, yet he has a nerve to now accuse the Labour part of being "racist" & "sexist". Why doesn't he look at what the conservatives have done.
Bet he has nothing to say about all the offensive things Boris has said about people from minority backgrounds.
We all know diversity is good , but I would rather someone got a job based on their skills and if they'll actually be competent ... rather than solely on their race .
People can applaud Rishi Sunak being the PM , but at the end of the day... it's about how they run the country and Sunak doesn't care about fixing anything , look at the mess Thatcher,May & Truss made . I don't care what race or gender the PM is ...as we're still in the worst government. And the conservatives still need to be BOOTED out .

That's why as a country we all need to vote for Labour next time, even if people usually vote for green party or other like you say, it will only increase the CONS getting BACK IN AGAIN which we want to avoid .
Another thing that's annoying about Piers Morgan is , all of a sudden he's pretending he's interested in diversity .. when this is the same bloke that usually gets upset when others bring up race and gender , his reaction is usually "how dare you " & how it's "nothing to do with it" :bored: .He's a walking contradiction.

So you're happy with the Conservatives being in power for another 12 years???
You'll find probably some harder line Cons think ONLY the Cons should ever be in power GoldHeart.
I was 18 when Labour last left power.
Looking back there were good things done by Labour in government with 10 years of growth 1997 to 2007.
I would have agreed Blair had to go after Iraq.
I'd never have supported that conflict.
However Labour or Con in governnent, neither were ever going to refuse George Bush support to go back to Iraq.
Both Thatcher and Major suppported Bush Snr the first time
So the outcome wouldn't have been any different.
As to the global BANKING crash in the last years of the Labour government which hit near all the major Countries.
That could have been worse if the Cons had been in.
Since Michael Howard and Cameron after him were criticising Labour for regulating the Banks TOO MUCH before any crash came.
So had the Cons won in 2005, they'd have regulated the Banks less.
Leaving more risk taking likely.
All governnents do good and bad.
However Labour according to hardliner Cons should never be forgiven for any mistakes.
Whereas they overlook and forgive just about anything the Cons do or what a Con leader does, even if breaking the law.
They'd have the UK a likely ONE PARTY state, no matter what the Cons do.
Just happy to see any other Party as an Opposition.
Hence why you get this ' not giving Labour a chance again'.
Immaterial of who was EVER Labour leader.
No matter the shambolic self imposed chaos these last PMs from Johnson have inflicted on the people of the UK.
Wasn't Russell Brand in favour of anarchy ??? . He doesn't even believe in democracy .
Russell Brand CARES about people ..

A coalition in name only.
The Lib Dems threw out all their major policies.
Keeping only a token Con accepted around a quarter of their more minor policies.
The Cons got around 75% of their heartless and extreme cuts and policies through with the LibDem votes.
It was a CON government which also had the Lib Dem votes tied in for 5 years of an agreed fixed term parliament.
It has really only been on the main and big issues a Con government since 2010.
As to cuts, tax, tuition fees, the NHS, the bedroom tax and heartless degrading testing of the sick and disabled.
Since the war.
It's been a solid Con led government for 47 years of the 77 since the war.
With a run of 13 straight years in the 50s and 60s
An 18 year run from 1979 to 1997.
Then this 12 year, so far, period too.
If they can't get things right over all those periods of government then when can they ever.
It was a coalition to 2015 in NAME only.
The Lib Dems were really just a voting extension for Con hard-line policies.

If Rishi Sunak’s first Prime Minister’s Questions is anything to go by, the
Conservatives are back in the game.
The new Tory leader bulldozed his way through Sir Keir Starmer’s attack
lines, earning such raucous cheers and thumps from his colleagues that the
Speaker had to warn them not to “damage the furniture”.
Sir Keir had come prepared with his strongest attack lines, on Suella
Braverman, on the Sunak family tax affairs, and on that awkward secret
video of Mr Sunak boasting about diverting levelling up funds to Tunbridge
Wells, but Mr Sunak turned each question back on the Labour leader to
shouts of “more!” from his backbenches.
The Tory Party looked as if it had got its mojo back, relieved to be sitting
behind a leader who looked confident, competent and combative.
From the off, it was also clear that Labour is not quite sure how to handle a
British Asian Prime Minister, spending almost as much time jealously praising
him for his historic first as it did rubbishing his policies.
Where Liz Truss was a hate figure for the left from the word go, Mr Sunak’s
first question of his tenure, which came from Labour’s Alan Whitehead, was
delivered with unabashed admiration.
Being good at Prime Minister’s Questions does not win elections - just ask
Lord Hague - and Mr Sunak’s strong performance will make no difference to
the reality of the economic maelstrom he must now try to tame.
But like a football team that thought the match was already won, Labour saw
the other side get a goal back, and suddenly an element of doubt might
have started nagging at the back of their minds.

Clever Sunak aged 42
used Corbyn
to Disgrace the Labour Party.
Sunak Won this
Older Starmer failed
Aged 60
He didn't really.
It was a very dull show from both.
However Sunak's avoidance of answering relevant questioning has left a lot of doubts as to his statement of humility and integrity on taking office.
Plus a lady of 87 just said to me this afternoon.who is a Lib Dem voter.
He needs to be careful bringing up past Labour leaders after his own 2 problematic predecessors.
Very wise words from someone much older there.

To you , is no one permitted to dare say anything against the lying, deceitful Cons.
Maybe we should let the Cons create a dictatorship to please their hard-line intolerant supporters .
If he thinks the Cons are dregs and waste rising to the top I'd say he was more right than wrong actually.
If he was shouting it about Labour, you'd be cheering him more than likely.

Nonsense.
Sorry for that but that's nonsense.
We don't, YET anyhow, live under a dictatorship.
We're getting there under this lot but thankfully not there yet.
Hopefully Labour will adopt a policy of PR too now and ensure we never do.
Only Starmer really needs convincing on PR but we're getting there.
PR was passed comfortablly at conference.
That will have the Cons messing themselves for sure.

This is why the budget has changed dates

I am pleased about one thing and that is the ban on fracking in place again.
I think that's about all I can credit him with really as to his start.
It really is bad that pensioners after being assured in 2019 and all through since until the last month's.
Are still NOT told what their pension increase will be.
He avoided answering in PMQs again as to what will be the measure for benefits increases too.
That is adding to uncertainty and stress unnecessarily.
Not good at all that.

of course it is, why else would braverman be back in her job
So why do we tolerate this nonsense time after time , government after government, decade after decade after decade..
Why can’t WE all get together and come up with a different system .. a completely new system ?
It doesn’t seem to be an impossible task given what minority groups are able to achieve in relatively short periods of time

when they start all the cuts, the first thing that will be said is this doesnt affect you and it's something i agree with. One of the major criticisms of the tory party is that they are not in touch with the people and it's never been more true

IF he just kept quiet and out the way.
He'd never be heard or seen as the media once any presentation was done.
Wouldn't have cameras or microphones on him.
So is this the new hardliner Con supporters hope now that all protests against their Cons have to be SHUT OUT.
Protesters not allowed to say or do anything to get attention
Russia and China don't tolerate that after all do they.
Look at his example though from the very top.
Labour MPs in the commons yelling at and jeering the Cons.
Con MPs yelling at and jeering Labour MPs.
Con MPs in the commons, jeering and ridiculing the SNP leader.
Is that and should that be acceptable.
Even in Parliament.
One sole voice outside parliament getting Cons up in arms because he DARES to protest against the Cons.
However they'd likely be laughing and cheering if he was calling Labour scum.

What you say above is in fact very worrying if any government decided to dictate that as policy.
If he's still going to be there under even your attitude to him.
Then what is the point of moving him at all?
Or if they want to interview anyone, why not do it INSIDE rather than outside?
As they do a lot of the time anyway.

It's you who wants his right to free speech stopped by him being hosed down.
Not me.
I'm supporting his right to verbally protest.

I don't care who he's protesting about.
Con, Labour or on any other issue.
He has the right to.
