DS have reviewed it, mostly positive but they say that there's no obvious hits on the album. Even if the singles from the album don't perform well on the charts, I predict the album will still go #1 in most countries.

Reviews for MDNA, which has 12 tracks, largely agreed with the Mirror's Dean Piper, that the record was showing younger stars she is still a "force to be reckoned with".

The album is released on 26 March.

MDNA can best be described as Ray of Light on steroids. You can also throw in some Confessions on a Dance Floor.

The first two singles don’t do this album justice. “Give Me All Your Luvin” still sticks out like a sore thumb on the album. “Girls Gone Wild” is a great dance track, but doesn’t display Madonna’s full capabilities.

Our favorite track on the album is “Love Spent,” an amazing electro-ballad that is beautifully sung and produced. We were told that an acoustic version of the song is set to be released.

Our second favorite song is “Gang Bang,” which is wild, scary, and sexy all in the same breath.

Guy Richie is still on Madonna’s mind. “Best Friend” and “Falling Free” will put a smile on his face.

Sorry, Little Monsters—we love Lady Gaga, but this album makes everything she has ever done seem reductive.

Not only did the Malawi government slam her philanthropic plan to build 10 schools in the African country, but her alleged stalker also got the charges against him dropped, meaning he's no longer held back by the order of protection issued in October that kept him from going within 10 blocks of her NYC apartment.

As for Madge's overzealous fan now having free roam, well, there's not really a silver lining on that one. Robert Linhart, who parked outside the singer's NYC apartment with adoring signs and was busted with an ice pick in 2010, got off the hook Tuesday.

According to the New York Post, a Manhattan judge dismissed all charges against Linhart, a retired NYC firefighter, citing prosecutors' failure to meet trial deadlines.

To be honest, it's just Smithy. He posts like that to everyone. He does it to me all the time and I'm just used to it now. If I had used the word 'leak' in the wrong context, no doubt would he have picked me up on it.

It is not exactly a "leak" as Guy Oseary has posted every "leak" from YouTube almost instantly after Perez's releases. And Guy has requested to fans to "police" leaks. A reply to a fan:

I think this "leaking" is Guy's "non-traditional" promotion of the album of which is causing a buzz amongst the online communities. If you see on Twitter within "leaking" the previews most of the time the title of the song has trended worldwide. However Madonna NEEDS some "traditional" promo.

I ****ed Up is a great song and I am hopefull for the success of the album, but promo is ESSENTIAL. She is currently full-on tour mode so that is unlikely.

MDNA finally leaked last night and it's fantastic, totally lives up to all the hype. It's pop at it's best and right up there with Madonna's strongest albums.

Gang Bang is so flawless, it didn't disappoint at all, love the dubstep breakdown in this and the ending is madly brilliant. Adore Nicki's line in I Don't Give A "there's only one Queen and that's Madonna, bitch!" :worship: Such a great song and I especially loved the choir at the end. Love Spent is amazing despite the excessive autotune, didn't expect it to like it very much when I first heard the preview but the snippet didn't do it justice. I'm Addicted is brilliant as well, love the MDNA chant at the end. Those are my four favorites currently but I know that'll change with further listens. Turn Up the Radio and Superstar are also great and sound very radio friendly, can see both becoming future singles. Overall it's so much better than Hard Candy. This album deserves to be hugely successful, whether it will be only time will tell.

I don't get what point you're trying to make here. No, they don't but Madonna has had a career spanning decades, she's been around before most of us forum members were even born. She doesn't need to prove anything. She still has a loyal fanbase and the fact that she can still get #1 albums speaks for itself. In 20 years time if Gaga is still around, will people still care about her then as much as they do now? Not likely. There will be a new it girl and Gaga will no longer have the same relevance that she does today.

Even though it is from past lyrics that pre-date Gaga's prominence, its obvious that she's using it to make a sly dig at her. I think its only detrimental to her image to be honest.
