Madonna Speaks Out In Support Of Jailed Gay Couple

Madonna is speaking out in support of two gay men who were handed a 14-year jail sentence in the African nation of Malawi, the same country where two of her children were born.

According to the Associated Press, two gay men, Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga, were sentenced to 14 years in prison, including hard labor, simply because they are homosexual. The men were arrested in December after they celebrated their engagement with a party, the AP reports.

Madonna, whose two youngest children, David and Mercy, were adopted from Malawi, spoke out harshly against the Malawian court’s decision, saying, “I am shocked and saddened by the decision made today by the Malawian court, which sentenced two innocent men to prison. As a matter of principle, I believe in equal rights for all people, no matter what their gender, race, color, religion, or sexual orientation. Today, Malawi took a giant step backward. The world is filled with pain and suffering; therefore, we must support our basic human right to love and be loved. I call upon the progressive men and women of Malawi – and around the world – to challenge this decision in the name of human dignity and equal rights for all.”

Also Thursday, U.S. President Barack Obama’s Press Secretary released a statement, which read, “The United States strongly condemns the conviction and harsh sentencing of Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga in Malawi. The criminalization of sexual orientation and gender identity is unconscionable, and this case mars the human rights record of Malawi. We urge Malawi and all countries to stop using sexual orientation or gender identity as the basis for arrest, detention, or execution.”

Letter from Madonna

I have always believed love conquers all – yesterday I got to see it in action.

In the last week over 30,000 of you added your name to mine calling for the release of Steven Monjeza, and Tiwonge Chimbalanga – the Malawi couple sentenced to 14 years hard labor for the “crime” of homosexuality.

With incredible joy I am writing to share with you that yesterday, Malawi President, Bingu wa Mutharika has ordered their release. Steven and Tiwonge were freed on Saturday night. They have won their freedom and you have been a part of it.

I would love to hear your reaction to this news. Share your thoughts now: http://www.raisingmalawi.org/lovewins

We celebrate this astounding turn of events with Steven, Tiwonge, and the countless Malawians fighting for their release. It is a historic day for Malawi.

Though they are free from prison, sadly their safety and future in Malawi is still unknown. I hope this is just the beginning of our work together.

Human rights injustices continue for so many Malawians facing poverty, disease, and a lack of critical resources. There are still over two million orphans and vulnerable children who need to experience love’s embrace.

It is going to take the love and creativity all of us to bring justice to the people of Malawi.

That’s why I would like to hear from you. Tell me your thoughts on this important day in Malawi: http://www.raisingmalawi.org/lovewins

Thank you for joining me in Raising Malawi.

With great love,

Madonna

Guetta: 'I was unlucky with Madonna'

David Guetta has suggested that record label issues may prevent the release of his collaboration with Madonna.

The DJ and producer confirmed to The Guardian that he and Madonna recently wrote and recorded a track together.

Guetta said: 'It's a tricky situation, because she's now out of a record deal. We don't even know what's going to happen with it. It's a huge record, so it's really frustrating.'

'The track is part of the Warner deal, but it's not on the album, so why would they invest any money in it? I was really unlucky with that one.'

Big respect for Madonna but wouldn't put her or Oprah that high. Where's the love for Pankhurst, Nightingale, Roosevelt, Curie, Aretha and even better actresses (Meryl Streep, Julie Andrews, Marilyn, Hepburns) than Drew and Sigourney :conf2:

Madonna boost for Lawnfest event at Kent school

Madonna dropped in to a charity music event at a Kent school, organised by the daughter of Mohamed Al Fayed.

The Lawnfest fundraiser was held on Friday night in aid of The New School at West Heath, Sevenoaks, UK.

Pop star Lemar was the headline act at the event to boost the school's bursary fund, organised by Camilla Fayed.

Madonna's appearance was to help publicise the event, which also included an art exhibition, although she did not perform.

The New School aims to rebuild young damaged lives through education.
Principal Christina Wells said: 'This fundraiser will help grant a bursary for those young people whose lives have been damaged by abuse, bereavement, bullying or other trauma.'

During an appearance on “American Bandstand” in 1983, Dick Clark asked an up-and-coming young singer what her career aspirations were. With a smile, she matter-of-factly said, “I want to rule the world.”
All hail Queen Madonna!
Twenty-five years, 12 Billboard No. 1 songs, worldwide album sales totaling hundreds of millions and a Golden Globe later, she has ruled with a velvet fist.
Besides her numerous accolades, Madonna has influenced fashion, dance and pop culture for an entire generation. Not bad for a girl from Bay City, Mich.

The Material Girl isn’t quite ready to cede her spot in pop music’s hierarchy to Lady Gaga or Britney Spears just yet. The 52-year-old singer had the fourth highest-grossing tour of 2009, bringing in $6 million a night and $138 million overall. An episode of the Fox hit sitcom Glee, which featured cast members singing several of her songs, added to her already high profile and cushioned her significant earnings from publishing royalties.

W.E Press Release

Madonna’s directorial feature debut started principal photography on Monday 05 July.

Based on an original screenplay, 'W.E', a film written by Madonna and Alek Keshishian is set to begin shooting this summer in Europe (UK and France) and the US.

'W.E' tells two parallel love stories separated by more than six decades. Acclaimed actress Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch, Bright Star, Elizabeth: The Golden Age) has been cast in the role of Wally Winthrop - a young married New Yorker in 1998 who is obsessed with what she perceives as the ultimate romantic love story, King Edward V111’s abdication for his love of Wallis Simpson. Andrea Riseborough has been cast in the role of Wallis Simpson.
Riseborough is best known for her outstanding Bafta Nominated performance of Margaret Thatcher in the acclaimed BBC drama 'The Long Walk to Finchley' and will soon be seen in Brighton Rock. British star James D’Arcy (Master and Commander, Secret Diary of a Call Girl) will play the part of Edward VIII. Wally Winthrop”s Russian love interest Evgeni will be played by rising star Oscar Isaac (Robin Hood, Sucker Punch) and her husband William will be played by Richard Coyle (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time).
Art imitates life as the revered British acting dynasty provides father and son, James Fox (Sherlock Holmes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bafta nominated A Passage to India, Bafta winner The Servant) and Laurence Fox (Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Becoming Jane) in the roles of King George V and his son, Bertie.

1936 England - Wallis Simpson, an American woman, captured the heart of King Edward VIII. Already divorced and married to her second husband when she met Edward, then the Prince of Wales in London, the two fell in love. However, once crowned, Edward was told by the Church and the Prime Minister that he could not marry Wallis and remain King… He abdicated, giving up the throne to be with the woman he loved. Once married and known as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, they lived out what many considered to be the romance of the century.

1998 N.Y - Wally Winthrop has a troubled past and moves to New York from the South to work in Sotheby’s Estate department. She gives up her job to marry a successful psychiatrist but the marriage is unhappy and Wally finds herself bored, frustrated and often alone. She seeks refuge in her obsession with what she believes to be the ultimate romantic love story, King Edward VIII ‘s abdication for his love of Wallis Simpson.

When Wally discovers that there is going to be an auction of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor’s Estate at Sotheby’s, she takes the opportunity to return to her old hunting ground to try to understand the nature of the great love affair through the artifacts that once belonged to the couple. While at Sotheby’s, Wally meets Evgeni, a Russian security guard, with a mysterious past. As she immerses herself deeper into the love story of Wallis and Edward, while spending more time away from her marriage, she finds herself falling in love.

We travel back and forth in time with Wally and Wallis, two fragile but determined women whose lives become inextricably linked. However, as the story unravels it becomes apparent that Wallis Simpson’s life was not as perfect as Wally had thought.

The film will be produced by Colin Vaines (producer Coriolanus, exec producer London Boulevard, The Gangs of New York and The Young Victoria) with Executive Producers Kris Thykier (producer The Debt, Kick-Ass, Harry Brown, exec producer Stardust) and Nigel Wooll (exec producer Miss Potter, co-producer GI Jane, White Squall).

The production team include Production Designer Martin Childs (Oscar Winner Shakespeare in Love, Oscar Nominated Quills, The Boy in Striped Pyjamas), Director of Photography, Hagen Bogdanski (The Lives of Others, The Young Victoria), Costume Designer, Arianne Phillips (Oscar Nominated Walk the Line, Bafta Nominated A Single Man) and Hair and Make Up Designer - Jenny Shircore (Oscar Winner Elizabeth, Bafta Winner and Oscar Nominated The Young Victoria).

Madonna film seeks museum help for Wallis film

A wedding outfit on show at a Scottish museum is to take a starring role in a film being directed by Madonna.

She has asked for the dress for her directorial feature debut, W.E., about Edward VIII's wife Wallis Simpson.

The outfit is currently part of a Marriage in the Movies exhibition at the National Museum of Costume at Shambellie House near Dumfries.

The dress was worn by Joely Richardson, who starred in the 2005 television production Wallis and Edward.

The outfit was designed by Michael O'Connor and will be worn by actress Andrea Riseborough, who will play Wallis Simpson in the film co-written by Madonna.

National Museums Scotland has agreed to release the dress, which had been due to remain on display until October this year.

It will be sent to the film set on Monday.

National Museum of Costume general manager Margaret Roberts said they had been happy to send the dress to Madonna.

'Our Marriage in the Movies exhibition is packed with fabulous gowns that tell a story not only about the history of the period they represent, but also of Hollywood glamour and style,' she said.

'This is a dress that was made for the movies, so when we received the request from Madonna's production company, we were only too happy to oblige.'

Marriage in the Movies runs until 31 October.

Joe Henry would be excited to produce Madonna's album

Joe Henry, the Grammy-winning producer and performer (and Madonna's brother-in-law) spoke to Jam! showbiz recently and was asked about collaborating with Madonna again:

What about producing an album for Madonna?

Don't think we haven't talked about it. When she's ready to make that shift, it's easily done. I think it's just a matter of her getting to the point creatively where she is completely at peace with swimming in different water. I believe we'll get there. And I'll be terribly excited about it when it happens.

Madonna To Open 'Hard Candy' Fitness Centers Around The World

Madonna in partnership with her manager Guy Oseary and New Evolution Ventures (NEV) announced the establishment of Hard Candy Fitness global gyms which will open in major cities around the world. The first Hard Candy Fitness is a beautiful and uniquely designed 30,000 square foot space which is scheduled to open in Mexico City mid November in the exclusive Bosques de las Lomas area. Madonna will be visiting the gym on the 29th of November for the official launch.

Throughout her career Madonna has been devoted to fitness and well being and has worked out in literally hundreds of gyms around the world. As a result, she has a strong vision on what the ideal exercise, dancing and work out environment should be. The direction for how to bring that vision to the fitness world began to take shape during an initial meeting between Mark Mastrov, the innovator behind 24 Hour Fitness and Guy Oseary early in 2008.
Mastrov has built a fitness empire of over 420 clubs in 16 countries. Mastrov, his partner Jim Rowley of NEV, Craig Pepin-Donat, the Vice President of Marketing and Development, along with Madonna and Oseary, are now in the planning stages of opening 10 more locations in Russia, Brazil, Argentina and throughout Europe and Asia. In addition, they are currently exploring opportunities and local partnerships around the globe for facilities where fitness, fashion and entertainment create a unique member experience.
'
Madonna’s world tours have taken us to many of our favorite cities around the world. We are looking forward to opening Hard Candy Fitness with NEV in many of these same places,' commented Oseary. 'Our goal is to create an environment inspired by Madonna’s vision and high standards of what the ideal gym would be. Hard Candy Fitness will be a reflection of Madonna's point of view and will reflect her input on every detail including music space, light and other design cues. Madonna’s touch will be everywhere.' stated NEV Chairman Mark Mastrov.

Chris Dedicik, Hard Candy’s Managing Director commented, 'Hard Candy Fitness is a one of a kind experience merging fitness with entertainment. We are dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our members.' Hard Candy Fitness members will experience the very best in innovative training methods including private, group and dynamic training including traditional classes such as Zumba, Latin Moves and Cardio Kickboxing as well as new programming designed specifically for Hard Candy Fitness.

The fitness center will also include a Bike Studio, a Mind Body Studio featuring The Great Wall, where members can practice BarWorks, Sculpting, Capoeria and the newest trends in Yoga. It will also house a healthy alternative Juice Bar/Cafe. The lavish locker rooms built with the finest materials will be a sanctuary for members who will be able to relax in sauna and steam rooms.

I agree.

Madonna paved the way for many artists over the past 20 years. She wasnt the first feisty female popstar but she's certainly the first to become a global megastar and huge business empire.

Still nobody has achieved what she has and done it in such a dramatic and controversial way. She's never towed the line and in America that can kill your career stone dead at any point.

Gaga isn't remotely controversial compared to what Madonna has done. Ironically, because Madonna paved the way for her. Her shock tactics are not shocking now...because Madonna was doing it long ago and people are now immune.

IDK about this thread anymore but here are some updates.

On February 16th, Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, announced on Twitterduring a question and answers session on the social network that Madonna will be releasing her 12th studio album by the end of 2011 and has described the it as Dance genre album. Oseary also confirmed that Madonna will be working with unknown producers and has already began listening to demo tracks. Futhermore he confirmed that Australia is already promised for Madonna's next tour and that he and Madonna are in the early discussions with Warner Bros. Music to release a DVD box set edition of all of Madonna's concert tours, however nothing was confirmed.

Madonna's song "Revolver" featuring Lil Wayne, remixed by David Guetta won an award at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards for "Best Remixed Recording".

Madonna has confirmed that she will begin work on her next album this summer.

Her longtime manager, Guy Oseary, took to Twitter to share the news that Madge will hit the studio in July. "Madonna goes into the recording studio next month to begin work on new album ...," he wrote, sharing little else about what the Material Girl has up her sleeve. But Oseary did have a few little nuggets of information for Madge's most devoted, writing, "She has a good idea of which producers she will be working with ... lots of questions about what kind of music it will be ... stay tuned."

This announcement comes six months after Madonna teased her fans with the prospect of beginning work on her next album on her Facebook page. In December, she wrote, "Its official! I need to move. I need to sweat. I need to make new music! Music I can dance to. I'm on the lookout for the maddest, sickest, most badass people to collaborate with. I'm just saying ..." Since releasing Hard Candy back in 2008, Madonna has been keeping busy doing everything but recording new music. OK, she did release a greatest hits album, Celebration, in 2009, but it seems her focus has been on anything but music.

She wrapped up work on her movie "W.E.," which was just picked up by the Weinstein Company. She also launched a clothing line with her daughter, Lourdes, aptly titled Material Girl, and even found time to open up her own line of gyms around the world called Hard Candy.

I am excited about it but just want it now tbh :(. She hasn't recored a studio album since 2007 (Hard Candy work started then) and just want some new Madonna music. I just hope that she does not go down what is popular in the charts and do her own thing.

Not like hard rock but give Madonna a chance to use her gutair on a track. Would be quite good :) I wouldn't mind a dance album but it would HAVE to be different to Confesssions.

Madonna creates, premotes or reinfines trends and puts them on the map. So anything is possible, Though personally I would prefer that she did not go down the 'big and popular' route. I want her to produce one of her best albums she has done, She is under a bit of pressure to show that she is still the Queen of Pop (she is anyway <3).

Radio programmers talk about Madonna album collaborators

Peter Buchanan published this blog recently at Examiner.com:

At the gathering of program director’s meeting in Chicago this weekend, the hot topic was Madonna. My June 9th column was the very first to reveal that The Weinstein Company picked up distribution rights to Madonna’s eagerly anticipated film W.E. I have a lot more information on that, but will keep quiet for now. After all, Madonna is primarily a recording artist, right?

The big talk at the meeting was Madonna’s upcoming album and the possibility of Jim Steinman (hello, Bonnie Tyler, Meat Loaf, and Celine Dion) as a collaborator. Apparently, Madonna wrote some songs with melody ideas and sent them to Mr. Steinman, who was very impressed. Madonna, despite what some say, does write her own lyrics and melodies, but relies on producers to come up with the music.

Some of the program directors thought the idea was interesting, while others thought that Jim Steinman would be cheapening himself. Even if Mr. Steinman doesn’t come through, one of the definite collaborators for Madonna’s next album is going to be Joe Henry, who co-wrote two of Madonna’s most loved songs: 'Don’t Tell Me' and 'Jump.'

The most detailed report of the album so far, sounds great!

Madonna has allegedly refused to work with Lady GaGa producer RedOne on tracks for her new album.

The 52-year-old pop icon started work on her 12th studio album on Monday, which was confirmed by her long-time manager Guy Oseary on Twitter.

However, Madonna has reportedly ruled out collaborating with producer RedOne after her record company suggested that she do so.

According to her fan site Queen Madonna, the performer refused to work with established producers, opting for up-and-coming music-makers instead.

"Madonna is working on an ambitious project. She has listened to the demo recordings which were submitted to her in the last few years, and some of them have already been completely upset by her," the site claims.

"She's the writer of almost all of the new lyrics. Producer Joe Henry is involved in two songs so far. Most of the other producers are not so famous. Her record company wanted her to work with renowned producers such as RedOne, which she refused to do."

The site's studio insider also suggested that one track has already been recorded, as well as listing a number of musical influences.

"One of the demo tracks that have already been recorded in the last few days starts off with some piano and violins then turning into a dance track," they said. "Its title may be 'Way Back Home', which is a demo tape from Diagram Of The Heart.

"Aside from Diagram Of The Heart, musical inspirations for this album include Jessica 6, Beth Ditto and The Sound Of Arrows."

The fan site concluded with the prediction that the album could hit shelves in time for the Christmas shopping season in November.

More news from MTV about new album producer

A few weeks ago, Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter to announce that the Queen of Pop was about to hit the studio to begin work on her twelfth studio album – her first since 2008’s Hard Candy. At the time, we had a few suggestions for Madge. We recommended she A.) stay away from 'hot' producers like RedOne or Dr. Luke, B.) make some real dance music, and C.) use the ups and downs of the last few years to write about something substantial.

And guess what? She’s taking our advice!

Oseary tweeted that Her Madgesty began work on the untitled album on the Fourth of July. Now the first producer has been named and he’s someone to get excited about: Martin Solveig. Solveig is a French electronic music DJ and producer best known for work with Canadian electropop group Dragonette and the song 'Hello,' which became a hit in the U.S. after being featured in commercials for Trident.

Remember what happened the last time Madonna worked with a lesser-known French DJ? Music happened.

'David Guetta, Joachim Garaud, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclair - these dudes are all part of the French guard of house music coming onto the scene in the early 2000s,' MTV News' resident dance music expert Akshay Bhansali tells us. 'He's [Solveig] always been well respected, but this year, singles-wise, he's probably made more commercially on music than Guetta.'

Solveig's good rep and ear for commercially viable dance music will be important, because this is an especially important album for Madonna. As silly as it may sound, it’s her first post-Gaga record and because of that, it will be viewed and critiqued through that lens. Earlier this year, Gaga was slapped on the wrist by music critics who felt her smash 'Born This Way' sounded a little too close for comfort to Madonna’s 1989 hit 'Express Yourself.' Gaga’s aesthetic is also often compared to Madonna’s.

So anyone who thinks Madonna won’t experience this same scrutiny in reverse as soon as she produces something new is naïve. Critics’ first question won’t be, 'What does it sound like?' Instead they’ll ask, 'Does it sound like Gaga?' And the answer needs to be no (or at least 'not really').

That’s why we recommended she avoid in-demand producers. If a producer is famous enough for the mainstream public to have some idea of who they are, then people will be able to spot their sound immediately - think RedOne’s bombastic beats for Gaga or the slick thump Dr. Luke puts together for Britney Spears and Katy Perry. Madonna at her best is forward-thinking and ahead of the musical curve; she doesn’t want to sound derivative (like she did working with 'hot' producers Pharrell Williams, Nate Hills and Timbaland on Hard Candy).

'He's a very capable producer, and maybe the fact that he’s an electronic dance music producer that has made two huge songs that don't sound too clubby is something that drew Madonna,' Bhansali says of Solveig. '‘Hello’ doesn't feel like your average fist pump song. It feels more cultured than that - and perhaps that's what she's after.'

Madonna was the primary songwriter on Music, Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dance Floor, and on all three she worked closely with little known European DJs/producers, Mirwais Ahmadzai, William Orbit and Stuart Price, respectively. It’s great that she seems to be reverting back to a formula that has worked well for her in the past.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Well there is a chance you might get a soundtrack to the film (Produced by William Orbit - Ray Of Light producer) and she could release a song from it, though that would be different style to her album :spin:.

And the last time she took this big a gap beween 2 studio albums was between Bedtime Stories and Ray Of Light which in the gap she released a greatest hits album (Ballads collection Something To Remember) did one of her best films ever and released one of her best albums ever (ROL)

Madonna is reportedly working with William Orbit for her upcoming twelfth studio album.

The 'Hung Up' singer is said to have reunited with her Ray of Light producer in a New York recording studio, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The tabloid also claims that the pop legend is planning a "huge" world tour to support the follow-up to 2008's Hard Candy.

Her manager Guy Oseary had previously confirmed that she had started work on the new release last month. At the time, he revealed: "She has a good idea on which producers she will be working with. There is nothing to report in regards to tour."

David Guetta has recently denied rumours that he will be working with Madonna on either his or her next album.

William Orbit was one of the main producers of Madonna's highly successful 1998 album Ray of Light. He also contributed to her 2000 release Music.

This is what you get when Gaga uses her propoganda to brainwash the young people. Gaga really is a nasty piece of work when you think about it.

I feel very sorry for those that have been swept away on this 'Gaga is the new Queen of Pop'. To be duped so easily by a thieving pop magpie who already seems to be on the wane.

Madonna will never have the success she had in the 80s/90s but I doubt the likes of Rihanna and Gaga will be making music twenty years from now.

Madonna is an icon. Up there with Elvis, Michael Jackson and Sinatra.

Dear Madonna's loyal fanatics, I am very much glad to start my collaboration with DrownedMadonna.com. I am an insider, working in the industry, but require anonymity, so just call me MITK aka Man in the Know. I decided to collaborate with this website because of their past exclusives on previous albums and tours, and also due to the new layout which is absolutely fresh, professional and cutting-edge, the perfect format for a leading, modern devoted fansite.

To launch my collaboration with DM I have some interesting news to share on Madonna's upcoming album. You've already heard some information, mainly the involvement of such names as William Orbit and Jean Baptiste Kouame - Madonnarama.com broke the news. You may even have heard some fake rumors too! Here are a few of the facts which I can share at the moment.

William Orbit is the 'wizard', the brain behind the new album, while the Free School, a collective of co-writers and co-producers, with Jean Baptiste Kouame as the primary songwriter, are the "tailors." Jean Baptiste was introduced to Madonna by Benny Benassi.

The new album will see extraordinary beats and sounds. The production is going to be rich, innovative, sophistacated and elaborated, in much the same way as "Ray of Light" previously. Besides amazing samples, the songs will see also live instruments, mainly guitars.

The lyrics are going to be deeper and elaborated. There are some Kabbalistic and spiritual topics, but I defy anyone to find them all! It's funny that after 13 years from the release of "Ray of Light," Madonna and William Orbit are working on a track, whose title reminds of the universe and the sky.

Madonna's album will incorporate a variety of styles including pop, dance-pop, hip-hop and electronic music with some rock guitair riffs. The tracks will mainly consist of up-tempo and dance. Some bits have echoes of Kelis' "Acapella" and Chris Brown's "Beautiful People" in my opinion.

Some vocal effects are added to her voice, but this remains subtle and well styled, the end result won't see an excessive use of vocal editing.

They are TESTING on single tracks, the collaboration of artists like KiD CuDi, Annie Erin Clark known under the moniker St. Vincent, Nervo and others.

The new album is tentatively seeing the collaboration of producer and hip-hop beat-maker Emile Haynie, known to have previously worked with sucessful big-name artists such as Eminem, Kanye West and KiD CuDi.

Madonna has adapted finally finding a fresh and edgy sound. This album will be, once again, a new change of direction. But if with "Hard Candy," to wink at the American audience, the result was not so convincing and 100% Madonna, this time we are going to have an extraordinary Madonna-brand sound which will definately be a commercial success.

William Orbit flew to New York to work on some tracks with Madonna, he then moved on to Los Angeles to work in the studio with the Free School whilst Madonna kept on working in her New York studio. Collectively they've already finished a lot of songs, about 8, but…not enough for the album. Also some of the songs that Jean Baptiste wrote for the Free School's next album have been reworked for Madonna. Now Jean Baptiste and his group flew to New York to work with Madonna in the recording studio and finish the tracks whilst Orbit is currently working in London. The album will be finally mixed between the end of the year and the new year, in Oakland or Las Vegas. William Orbit is expected to fly to the US.

Prepare yourselves for a masterpiece, the album of the decade... something that will go down not only in Madonna's history but also in the history of music.

That sounds brillant - Working with William Orbit again will be fantastic. And maybe Madonna playing her gutair. Her using '' Kabbalistic and spiritual topics'' will be just like Ray Of Light again. Can't wait!

Sources have exclusively confirmed to Madonna Tribe that confirmed producers of the new album are William Orbit, Martin Solveig and Benny Benassi adding that the sound of the record is definitely pop dance and that at this very moment Nine Tracks of the album are ready.

Further more, as already reported today by Madonna Tribe the first single has already been choosen. It reminds of a cheerleader song featuring two vocal guests: M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj and will also be presented during the SuperBowl appearance.

According Madonnarama, she will be singing the very first single – a never-heard-before song co-produced by Martin Solveig – from her forthcoming album. The track is called "Give Me All Your Love" and it’s a very catchy tune.

Photographers Mert and Marcus have been chosen to shoot the new album cover. The photoshoot is happening towards the end of the year but they have already done the campaign forher coming fragrance called Truth or Dare

Glad to see Madonna's able to still sell singles all by herself http://wedogsinc.org/forum/images/smilies/emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

I am against collaborations for her new album so I am dissapointed, but I know that it will be a great song as she has put a great deal into the album. Nor am I 100% for a dance record but we will see with the final results. And below:

In more music news, Madonna is going to put in her WE movie a brand new ballad she has penned and that she performs, but we have been told that at this stage it has not yet been decided if it will also be put on the new record or will remain a WE exclusive.

So not fully relyinng on other artists for help. I hope the ballad will be great and I am looking forward to the movie. Celebration charted at no 3 in the UK despite lack of promo and no collabs.

At present time Madonna is set to perform five songs and among them the first single from the new album that has already been chosen and we’ve been told it’s perfect for the event.

Sounds promising! #2012TheYearOfMadonna

Reports have come through that the album version of Give Me All Your Love will NOT contain Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. Also the leaked lyrics from a demo version have apperaed online:

L-U-V Madonna

Y-O-U You wanna
I see you coming and I don’t wanna know your name
L-U-V Madonna
I see you coming and you’re gonna have to change the game
Y-O-U You wanna
Would you like to try?
Give me a reason why
Give me all that you got
Maybe you’ll do fine
As long as you don’t lie to me
And pretend to be what you’re not

(Chorus)
Don’t play the stupid game
Cause I’m a different kind of girl
Every record sounds the same
You’ve got to step into my world
Give me all your love and give me your love
Give me all your love today
Give me all your love and give me your love
Let’s forget about time
And dance our lives away

L-U-V Madonna
Y-O-U You wanna
Keep trying don’t give up, it’s if you want it bad enough
L-U-V Madonna
It’s right in front of you, now tell me what you’re thinking of
Y-O-U You wanna
In another place, at a different time
You can be my lucky star
We can drink some wine
Burgundy is fine
Let’s drink the bottle every drop

(Chorus)
Don’t play the stupid game
Cause I’m a different kind of girl
Every record sounds the same
You’ve got to step into my world
Give me all your love and give me your love
Give me all your love today
Give me all your love and give me your love
Let’s forget about time
And dance our lives away

(Bridge)
You have all the L-U-V
I gave you everything you need
Now it’s up to Y-O-U
Are you the one, shall we proceed?
M-A-D Don’t make me
L-U-V It’s time for
Y-O-U It’s up to
L-U-V I want your

(Chorus)
Don’t play the stupid game
Cause I’m a different kind of girl
Every record sounds the same
You’ve got to step into my world
Give me all your love and give me your love
Give me all your love today
Give me all your love and give me your love

Madonna has been confirmed to appear on The Graham Norton Show in the new year.

The singer will join Andrea Riseborough and James D'Arcy to discuss her film directing debut W.E on Friday, January 13.

Norton said of Madonna's appearance: "I couldn't be more excited! This is my real Christmas present. I may have to retire, but that's not a promise!"

The broadcaster has previously described Madonna as the "holy grail" of chatshow guests, saying that he would be prepared to devote an entire show to her.

The US release of W.E, a historical drama on the relationship between British monarch Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, has been pushed back. Originally due to open on December 9, the film will now premiere in US cinemas on February 3, 2012.

The film is still due to open in the UK on January 20, 2012.

Three Album Licensing Deal with Interscope Records Confirmed

Madonna will have a new album out in late March; it was officially confirmed today by Interscope Records. In one component of a very broad plan developed by long time manager Guy Oseary and Live Nation Entertainment, the Material Girl has signed a three album deal with Interscope Records.

The new album, her first in five years, has been completed. 'Gimme All Your Luvin,' the first single from the album, will be released the last week in January prior to her upcoming Bridgestone Halftime Superbowl appearance on February 5th.

In 2007, Madonna signed a multi-faceted deal with Live Nation that includes new studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan club/website, DVDs, music-related television and film projects and associated sponsorship agreements. 'We look forward to a great partnership,' commented Live Nation Entertainment's Chairman of Global Music & CEO, Global Touring Arthur Fogel.

Oseary was equally enthusiastic: 'We couldn't be happier to work with Jimmy Iovine , Lucian Grainge (Chairman & CEO, Universal Music Group) and the entire Interscope team. We anticipate a very bright future at our new home,' added Jimmy Iovine , Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M. 'Very rarely does an opportunity like this come around. We would like to thank Madonna, Guy and Live Nation for their belief in us.'

I know but has it aired in full yet? Do you have a YouTube link?

Her face looks great, I think she's had botox.

Some inferior popstar who copies Madge, I think.

I have found this on Good Morning America, the interviewer is very bitchy.

She called her "reductive". She's only saying what most of the world was thinking this time last year though.

I love Madonna's music but she seems to treat her fans with a dismaying lack of generosity. #grahamnorton #madonna

Madonna's cold isn't she! Scary interview. Felt sorry for Norton but good watch.

Madonna riles me...so rude...so fake...so self absorbed #grahamnortonshow

Yeah I'm glad, Madonna is a rude grumpy old hag. She thinks she's better than everyone and I really can't stand people like that. Yet her fans continue to worship her despite her showing no love or anything for them.
