I know. It’s almost as if a pub is the only place to have a drink and relax during an ongoing pandemic. Don’t you have a home you can drink in?

Drinking on my own in a flat is not the same as a pub. People enjoy the social aspect of drinking in the pub and the different variety of drinks and the service. The government have opened the pubs people are just following the guidelines. That’s like saying why go for a run / walk during the pandemic when you have a garden
